Tourist Stabbed
- Chicago police are holding a man for stabbing a tourist outside a downtown hotel.
Police say the victim got into an altercation with a man who’d been drinking, early Monday morning outside the Wyndham Grand Hotel, 71 E. Upper Wacker Drive.
His arm was cut with a glass bottle. He needed stitches at Northwestern Memorial Hospital.
Any bets as to how this tourist is going to rate his visit to town?

If they are going after the tourists now, we are doomed. Why doesn't the hotel keep the streets immediately around it cleaner.
Don't worry new choose Chicago video! Notice how rahms speed away? How many more traffic red lights violated?

The Choose Chicago people aren't going to be happy? They'll discuss their extreme distress over champagne and hors d'oeuvres at the Standard Club, then retreat to silk sheets in their lakefront pied a terres. Tomorrow, it will all be a memory.
Lucky he was only stabbed and not shot. Doesn't this tourist know to leave Chicagoans alone. We have concealed carry.
Car 13, it's not tourist related! LMAO...
What does the tourist expect? Staying in a sketchy neighborhood like that? He was lucky he survived!
Nothing good ever happens after midnight.
I was talking to a friend from England a couple of days ago. I invited him to come visit Chicago. He was very polite when he declined, saying he'd rather take his chances on the beach in Tunisia.
On my Boul Mich! What is this city coming to? Did VRI have to drop paper?
Now, kees me you fool!!!!
"I visited Chicago and all I got were these lousy stitches..."

There are lots of people who'll never forget their visit to Chicago --
Bucktown beating victim works to rebuild life 5 years after attack
Tuesday, April 14, 2015
"CHICAGO (WLS) -- It's been nearly five years to the day that a violent attack forever changed the lives of two young women who were wrapping up an evening of fun in Bucktown.
"In April 2010, Natasha McShane and Stacy Jurich were beaten with a bat and severely injured. Both are still recovering. On Tuesday, Jurich talked about the incident that horrified the community and the continuing effort to rebuild her life.
"While walking home in Bucktown from a night out dancing, the two women were attacked with a baseball bat. The brutal mugging left both with severe injuries.
"Heriberto Viramontes was arrested for wielding the bat, and Marci Cruz for driving the getaway car...Viramontes was found guilty and sentenced to 90 years in prison. "He is a menace to society and he earned every second of the 90 years he got," [ASA] said."

I understand that, back in Ireland, Ms. McShane is still struggling to be able to make her own cup of tea...
...and remember the elderly oncologist, here for a convention, who was hacked up with a knife in the lobby of a Michigan Avenue hotel? "It didn't happen on the street. It happened in a men's room," sniffed Mayor Emanuel.
60,000 boos at Soldier Field the other day.
"Why do they hate me? Why? Why?"

Crap like this is why I refuse to visit Chicago ever again - or NYC, or New Jersey. Nowadays I never go to town unarmed. The level of casual violence, coupled with the progressives intentionally disarming citizens, Has caused me to make this decision.
Now that's a welcome "Chicago" style...!!!
Perhaps only allow plastic bottles downtown. No more glass!
(OT) listen to this guy King from homeland security committee the cia is pretty much operational in silence listen to what he says about an attack that the head of Cia stated:

Be vigilant, time to support the police public, elected let us know what you see, Muslim community advise police if your suspicious of someone, the public will be instrumental in helping police protect the innocent people!
Y'all come back now, hear.
What's the real story? Wacker Drive shit. Was this a shoe shine robber? Shine for 4.00, but the second shoe costs $40.00. Was this a straight aggressive panhandler, or a con man with the hustle. I like how they don't say what really happened. Like the tourist perpetuated it, probably because he said no to these MF ers.
Retired
this kind of thing happens in other places too.

VRI on Michigan Ave. runs from Ohio to Oak.
Not on MY watch!!!!!
In many places in the world -- New York City included -- committing a crime against a tourist is taken very seriously. In Chiraq, it's swept under the rug. Hell, they kept the flash mobs quiet until the Loyola student newspaper broke the story.
That ER (not the Hospital itself or the NWM Medical Group) at Northwestern Memorial is one of the worst in the city, if not the state, if not the country. They're a trauma center overloaded w. stabbings and shootings on warm evenings. Law-abiding citizens are treated poorly and abused by burned-out staff who get sick of the good people in misery complaining about having to wait for up to 10 hours on a warm Friday night- even folks with internal bleeding, heart attack symptoms, etc. They triage gang-bangers to be numero uno. Use Presence St. Joseph's ER on LSD in Lincoln Park- that's where a lot of the Northwestern Memorial Physician's Med Group patients now go for ER.
Bet the victim was sauced as well...mutual combatants.
Hey, the tourist wanted the full Chicago experience.
Hopefully Spike and Fr. Faker got it on film.
Sure seems like someone didn't get the memo -- you don't mess with tourists (try that in some foreign countries and see the jail cell you're going to occupy). Oh wait, nobody sent the memo.
