- The Rev. Al Sharpton made a trip to Chicago Sunday to speak about the devastating violence that has gripped the city.
Sharpton, a Baptist minister and civil rights activist, attended the 11 a.m. service at New Mount Pilgrim Church in the West Garfield Park neighborhood, where he was scheduled to preach a "special message" about violence.
They forgot to mention "racist, libeler, deadbeat, and unindicted co-conspirator in that description.
- By the time Sharpton made his speech, six people had been killed and another 24 had been wounded in shootings across the city since Friday evening.
So, what they're saying here is the message is.....what's the word? Timely? But that'd be racist.

And meanwhile, just a crack rock's throw away from where the good minister was a-preach-a-fyin' to generations of lost causes, CPD was fishing out of the Garfield Park Lagoon body parts of a mutilated child - the head, specifically.
Did Al's "special message" address that atrocity? Maybe he let it slide from his sermon because he conferred with Alderblimp Jason Ervin who determined it was nothing more than "nonsense" brought to the park? Or perhaps it was the usual drivel where everyone BUT blacks and browns must be held accountable for the injustices that seem to be concentrated in minority neighborhoods?

Al Sharpton is a race baiting street rat. He's been the guest of Obama at the White House many times
Sharpton was never a "reverend".Nor was/is he an ordained minister. The title "reverend" comes from the time when his family gave him the nickname of reverend when he was a young child. But what galls me, what really drives me nuts is when I hear guests on his television show that should know better call him reverend and treat him as if he actually were a reverend. I can thinkl of several names I would call him if I ever met him but reverend isn't one of them.

How is that Sharpton anchors his own show on MSNBC? That channel needed someone with dignity and credibility.
