Is anyone shocked? Anyone who's paying attention we mean:
- Investigators recovered five guns from a party bus early Sunday after shots were fired in the Gold Coast neighborhood.
When officers heard gunfire near the 100 block of West Division Street at 2:30 a.m., people indicated that a party bus heading westbound on Division might have been involved, according to Chicago Police.
Officers stopped the bus and eventually found five guns inside, police said. A 35-year-old man was taken into custody for questioning.
No one was injured in the shooting, police said.
We highly doubt that this one detainee was carrying all 5 guns.
But is anyone really surprised that these "party buses," which are pretty much unregulated rolling thug limos, filled with strippers, whores, gallons of liquor, any type of drug you could want and yes, guns, are involved in anything criminal? Besides the media and the liberals on the Gold Coast.

I remember once upon a time, when the smarter-than-thou monied crowd thought that they were isolated.
Not in this city...not this day and age.
One good thing you can say. The bus is better than a bunch of individual cars driven by drunken idiots.
I remember having to lock up a few suburban fireman on a bachelor party-party bus circa 1994/95ish that stopped at Madison & Kilbourn for BJs from the local working girls. Only they were too drunk to realize the girls were coppers doing an Operation Angel. All was going smooth with the "Catch & Release" until one of the drunk "heroes" motherfucked then Tact Lt. Steve Scholl (RIP). Not only did that disrespect earn a few of them ignorant fucks a CB# that night, the bus driver went too for "Keeping a House of Ill Fame" and had his bus hooked. The good Lt. then made sure the supervisors and mayor of the suburb were notified of their heroes indiscretions, resulting in a few of the PT guys getting shitcanned and the others getting whacked with a few days w/o pay. Moral of the story???? You don't motherfuck the Big Kahuna when he's trying to do you a solid. Those were some good times on this job.

Subject these party buses to more traffic stops. Citations do not have to be issued. Just contact card the driver and get that info into our data basis for future reference.
If the Par-Tay Bus n' Limo Service doesn't or hasn't donated to the Chicago Democratic Organization expect that their license will be suspended until such contributions are received.

Public Transportation -- 123456 PT -- Public Transportation license plates are issued to any privately owned First or Second Division motor vehicle used, maintained or operated for the non-emergency transportation of persons for compensation.
I believe that "Medical Carrier" plates -- 1234 MC -- are used on such as "medi-cars," like those vans with the wheelchair lifts, etc.
Lot more going on than meets the eye with these damned party buses, and it's a "moving target," do whatever you want in there. Obvious they're taking advantage of that. Should be provision to stop/check at any time, same as you can walk into a bar on premise check to look for violations.
