Media Still Pushing for Unrest

They want a riot and by golly, they're going to get one, even if they have to push the wildest conspiracy theories in the face of actual.....you know, facts and shit. Here's Channel 5:
  • On the night of the Laquan McDonald shooting, Chicago police entered the nearby Burger King restaurant on Pulaski Road to see what its security cameras captured, a store official told NBC 5 News six months ago.

When they left, the store official said, the security video was missing.

Now NBC 5 News has obtained screen grabs of what appears to be at least one police officer in the Burger King at what appears to be a computer terminal that night.
The Tribune also has some story hidden behind their paywall. But the FBI says, "No tampering:"
  • A forensic analysis for the FBI found “absolutely no evidence of tampering” with video from a Burger King near the scene where Laquan McDonald was gunned down by Chicago Police Officer Jason Van Dyke last year on the South Side, a source close to the investigation said Monday.
We are no great fans of the FBI - they're accountants and bean counters with an unlimited budget. But one thing they're good at is computer stuff and data crunching, and if they say something like "absolutely," they're probably right on. But certain media outlets are running this "conspiracy" crap for the sole purpose of keeping certain folks (or people) on edge.

WHOOOO!

Gotta keep the false anti-Police "outrage" hotted-up!

Or else the usual cast of characters have the grand total of dick-all to
show for the massive expenditure of political capital.

The "Agenda" trumps all.

May every member of the collaborationist, yellow journalist
local media be reduced to living squatter camps along the
banks of the Sanitary & Ship Canal and chasing river rats
to pad their pork n' beans with...

Who cares? There is already video of the incident. What good would more video do?

1st of all, security camera systems, by design, do not allow for deletion of video footage. Can't be done. Not an option. In addition, every action in a security system is logged. That also can't be undone. Now, one can argue that you can access the hidden saved video files in the hardrive bypassing the security system software and delete them but that is way over the head of 99% of coppers (or anybody for that matter) and not likely done when people are over your shoulder. Plus, unless you have some NSA certified "scrubbing" software that overwrites the area the deleted files occupied with zeros's multiple times, that shit is recoverable with some easily found freeware online. Recovering "deleted" files off your computer or phone is pretty much routine work for the FBI and not hard to do. Deleting files undetected is virtually impossible. My guess is the Burger King manager has an agenda.

As a civilian it has appeared to me that the media has been pushing for unrest for weeks. For at least a week before the video was released we had daily updates of "just wait till the video is released" From the beginning it seems that they wanted a riot. They didn't get it thank goodness. They are reaching for straws. Pathetic.

I wanna know what will happen to the manager that blatantly lied about the tape being altered? Maybe we should all call Burger Kings main office and complain. Was a all out blatant LIE.

The detective who reviewed the video is as straight as an arrow and does not deserve these frivolous accusations. No Burger King video ever existed, Feds and US Attorney did extensive investigation and interviews into the allegation and debunked the lie. Burger King employees are flat out lying police haters.

The dick should hire a lawyer and sue the media and especially Burger King for facilitating this fantasy of a police cover up and putting the detective through the ringer. Burger King has deep pockets and probably would prefer the truth about their anti-police employees not get out to the public.

Word on da street is: the video at BK was "tampered" with by employees so they could screw off and take extended "smoke breaks" and other shenanigans. This happened on a regular basis but the powers that be had no reason to check the video before. (no incident, no video review) Its not like they could have captured an alien abduction or even maybe a justified police shooting.....just sayin.

For all the hater of the bureau (FBI), wake up, they have cleared more copper' of shit for decades and do play by the rules. FBI throws cases back to IAD and the states attorney office more often then you will ever know. All the times they took copper' down was when copper' where sandbagging and stealing the sidewalks off the streets.

Give credit when do. I Never worked with a better group of stand up and real people.

Hmmm. Perhaps those mobs could go smash out the windows at channel 7 during a live broadcast? That would boost their viewership.

Carol Marin, now over-the-hill as a reporter, has resorted to and championed this type of yellow journalism. Guilt by inference.

Im disgusted with the media reports on T.V. and papers. Every time and I mean every time they give community alerts for wanted offenders or to watch for these offenders and notify police if spotted they REFUSE to mention race or ethnicity of these offendes. Then why bother to even say anything if your not reporting the entire description. Height weight and clothing just is bullshit if your not giving race. The media is just as guilty of covering up what is really going on in our city. Rahm must have issued those orders also. Clothes can be changed in minutes. What gutless morons.

Chicago TV media sucks.Every 5 minutes they stick a microphone in some dimwit protesters face asking him why they are marching and what is their message. They are trying to keep the pot stirred up. I swear, they must all have spies in each others newsrooms, they all copy each other's bs newscasts minute by minute.

This time it's Van Duke, who should be getting a public service award. They wanted the chiefs head. He's gone now. The FBI says no evidence of tampering but newspaper and tv make reports insinuating the whole Chicago PD is covering up.
Let the assholes have it. Let'em burn it down. Let them riot, rape and murder. Let newspapers and tv explain it's just their culture.
And when the reporters dial 911, say, "We 're sorry, the number you have called is no longer in service as it is offensive to the new ruling class."
Officers, don't waste your time on those that only need you for lawsuits.

All you crown cap wearing coppers wandering around city hall:
Sick of the media BS? Start ticketing their vehicles if they are not in a Media Permit zone

9-64-170D : commercial vehicle ban tickets.

Since, the media is a business they need a CDOT or OEMC right of way parking permit to be anywhere else to conduct business and park for free.
