Someone must have actually put two and two together, which means they actually have a brain:
- City Hall was buzzing Monday following the nnouncement of a federal investigation into the Chicago Police Department.
With the exception of Ald. Ed Burke, many in Chicago City Council welcome the federal investigation into the Chicago Police Department, and some are saying it shouldn't stop there.
Two first-year aldermen, David Moore and Carlos Ramirez-Rosa, are demanding the Justice Department probe expand to City Hall's 5th floor.
"The buck stops at the mayor's office. And that's why we as a city council need to own our responsibility to question the mayor and his administration and find out exactly what occurred during the last 13 months," Ramirez-Rosa said.
Of course, Sparklefarts isn't going to have anyone investigate his former Chief-of-Staff. That would be silly. Rahm arrived to bide his time until he could return to Washington DC and feather his nest a bit if he had the opportunity. That opportunity seems to be lacking, but Washington DC still looms in his future.

To U.S Attorney Loretta Lynch:
Please, Please, PLEASE investigate the systemic corruption Involving DOUBLE-DIPPING, where sworn members retire and are then re-hired as civilian members who are then collecting their sworn pensions AND a hefty civilian paycheck. The victims here are not only the taxpayers but the people who applied for those jobs and were unaware that the "fix" was in, in that they didn't have a chance to actually be hired, as the "insiders" were the only ones considered for the job. Several of these people were rehired the day after they retired from their sworn positions. The entire process is a sham.
You may want to start with the Deputy Chief of the Bureau of Support Services, who just may be the longest-running double-dipper in the history of the CPD. It seems as though he always has a hand in the rehiring of the other double-dippers, too, as many of them are in his own bureau, such as the Director of Human Resources, and both the Director and the Assistant Director of Research and Development.
Investigate the city council as well. Perhaps the feds have some insight into how many aldermen are really needed to run this city.
Those first term aldermen are bucking to be final term aldermen.
1. Subpoena McCarthy.
2. Ask him when he first showed Rham the video.

Don't these well educated/sarcasm know that inviting the Feds in for coffee, they will want more they will stay for all courses and hopefully alderman they digest the main course which is you and the others! Not a fan of Burke but he survived many investigations and knowing how Feds play made a smart statement but you 2 have no clue, let's hope Feds open city hall Pandora's box the fun we will have!!
In theory this is how dialogue between the city and the Department of Justice should read:
DOJ: Your officers are poorly trained and as a result their actions come short of exemplifying the standards of a law enforcement agency.
City: Your right they need more training. Since you have discovered this in your inquiry no doubt the federal government can free up grant money for more training and more officers so as to reach the goals of the department. In this dire situation we need that federal money.
DOJ: The officers statements and the videos do not coincide when they are involved in situations in which they fire their weapons.
FOP: You are right we need to address that. The only way to do this is to allow the officer a period of at least 24 hours to go through a de-escalation period then give a statement much like federal agents when they are involved in shootings. In these high stress situations the officer may not give a concise account of what happened due to the brain releasing epinephrine and using experimental reasoning to survive the situation. This has clearly been documented and backed by scientist. You can easily reference the books: "The Gift of Fear" "Just Two Seconds" and "The Bullet Proof Mind". In addition to this we also welcome not only more training for the officer but also more equipment. In these dangerous times where terrorism and mass shooting are a threat our officers need all the training that is available to them. We are sure that the city will agree to both of these findings.

You seem to be forgetting something, Obama's Political Career is over, He has no purpose
for Rahm any more. Why do you think Rahm has been so docile and conciliatory at the News Conferences? He made the call to the WH and was told,
"I've seen the McDonald Video, you're own your own".
So as these alderman point fingers, have they found a new LIG, or restored a budget to that office?
Didn't think so.
DOJ should get court orders to seize every computer, smartphone, and tablet in CPD so they can put disk images into evidence. The dirt in CPD is many feet thick, and hard drives,etc. can be wiped or destroyed easily. Same goes for MDT and email servers. The shame is that the MANY good cops are going to get paranoid about breathing, far less working, in the short term. Hang in there good guys; maybe by the end you'll have real Commanders, FTOs, ADS', etc.
So does all this mean that rahm is going to give up his emails?
