May Numbers
Remember that "mere" 3% increase in the April 2016 from April 2015 murders? Someone ran the May numbers for us so far:
- The first five days of May 2013 - 4 homicides
- The first five days of May 2014 - 6 homicides
- The first five days of May 2015 - 7 homicides
- The first five days of May 2016 - 10 homicides
Oops.
And how did May end?

- May 2013 - 44 homicides
- May 2014 - 41 homicides
- May 2015 - 48 homicides
- May 2016 - in progress
That the trouble with running around claiming "trends" based on a snapshot - one bad month, or one bad weekend, can make you look like a moron.

In hindsight, April may have just thwarted the will of the people. May is currently pacing towards its historic mid-to-upper 50s average plus another 300ish wounded.
So tired of seeing the grieving mothers. Where are the loving discipline fathers?

Thugs/bangers haven't any respect for moms including their own.
WBBM, thats right, newsradio 78 they used to call it just before a minute for kids segment (which was only 50 seconds; rip off I am going to sue) reported in one of the homicide cases between the shooter you guys caught and the so called victim who had a low level of urban combat training or a lousy shot or both, there were a total of 80 arrests in their comnined histiories.
It is really hard to get worked up about violence in Chicago. I think the reason is violence is so anticipated it is acceptable. Most of us don't have a problem with these two with 80 prior arrests dead. Its too bad they could not have mutually shot each other in unison.
Not even noon on Mother's Day and we already have 2 with toe tags on, when's the March. BLM.

Rahm brought McNumbnuts in as a HATCHETMAN and to fall on his sword to take the heat off of him and that is exactly what he did.
My question: is McCarthy still being paid somehow to keep his mouth shut?
They want it high for the 2017 numbers, if it goes down he'll be a genius
