Local 700 is unhappy with Tom Dart:
Tommy has been busy gutting the workforce, ignoring numerous complaints, and presiding over a suicide rate that is something like double the national average for police officers nationwide. He also has been throwing pizza parties for inmates if they don't engage in certain anti-social behaviors on the blocks, covering up numerous sex assaults against female staffers and releasing videos that even Grand Juries don't believe rise to the level of Official Misconduct.

Tommy is currently enjoying a certain level of "Teflon" status from the media - mostly because he's part of the up-and-coming Prickwrinkle machine, but it is also suspected because he employs the spouses of certain media members in six-figure jobs.

Tommy is a very astute, canny, and upcoming progressive politician.
Dart sounds more and more like the buffoonish sheriff from the comedy "Front Page."
He is a shoe-in to be mayor of Chicago thanks to the Democrat Machine.

Since Sunday in Div. 9 we Had a sergeant beaten. We had a Officer on Monday beaten and sent out for head Injuries. Today we had a Male Officer and a Female officer severly Beaten and taken out of the Jail by Ambulance. That's four Staff Beaten by Inmates and nothing about this is on the News. Why doesn't Tom Dart release those Videos. Why Because he is living in a fantasy World that he Believes the Inmates are Mentally Ill when in fact these inmates are nasty and no good Sub Humans. He doesn't Worry about it because his Adminstration and his mindset is that these inmates are Victims. I never wanted bad luck to anyone. But Tom Dart needs to have shit or Piss thrown on him by his Victim Mentally Ill Inmates. He doesn't care about his Staff or his staffs families. The only one who is Mentally Retarded is Tom Dart and his Scamming Adminstration that lies to him all the time. Tom Dart if you read this ask about the HOSTAGE incident report from the other day when a inmate was threatening to kill another inmate because Tarry Williams a Chief of Staff promised the inmate that his would be let out of Seg Unit and it didn't happen. Tarry Williams lied to the Inmate and he lies and hides Incidents Occurring in your jail.Your Adminstration is going to get someone Killed.
Two more Officers went out 911 today due to an inmate attack.
Bet you won't see that as part of Dart's "Transparent" policy, nor will you see the video on the Sheriff's website.
Please name the spouses and their job titles.

Channel 32's Mike Flannery son, with no law enforcement experience to speak of, was hired by Dart to be a Director of Policy. Nice huh?
TV Tom is not a Sheriff, he's a lawyer disguised as a wanna be. Law Enforcement officials don't respect this guy, they just tolerate him. Tommy loves his inmates and blatantly disregards the safety issues the officers that serve his office face. In the past week there were 5 officers sent out 911 (including a female officer) for battery by inmates, who not only do what they want, but get rewarded with treats by Tommy and his administration as long as they pinky promise not to act out again. Tommy speaks of transparency about his office with the public, but simply as a political stunt to try and run for Mayor. Good luck CPD if this guy gets elected...the city will really be up for grabs...stay safe!
96% have no faith in the administration. The other 4% are married to the media or they interviewed jail trustees not realizing they were inmates.

Patrick Elwood's father in law has a six figure job, along with many former states attorneys that were let go are now directors for Dart.
Every time I see Dart on TV, he is not wearing a uniform. When I see other Sheriff's on the news, they are wearing a crisp uniform. Dart always looks disheveled.
What about the 200+ "directors" making six figures a year??? What a bunch of useless assholes. Tom Dart is an even bigger piece of shit than Rahm. Jeez. Set up a new email address. Make a friend of one specific reporter and feed him/her this info. No one knows what's going on inside because none of you are putting the info out there. Let it see the light of day.

Tom Dart is the absolute worst Sheriff of Cook County since Ogilvie.
Dart has singlehandedly dismantled Specialty Units in the Police Department such as putting the Bomb Unit in Regular Patrol, eliminated Road Rage cars, eliminated the Canine Unit with the exception of the bloodhound, eliminated the Traffic Unit, left beats short or doubled up in unincorporated Cook County while sending Units into the City, etc, etc...
Morale is at an all time low for the Courts, Corrections and Sheriffs Police.
We tried to trade you for McCarthy who would have been welcomed by Sheriffs employees-it's just that bad!

Sounds like the media has its own "code of silence." No one willing to speak ill of their fellow reporters loved ones and their cushy political jobs. But that's ok they can continue to demonize the police and make us look like the bad guys. This world is upside down. What is right is now wrong. Time to turn the tables on these democrats and their criminal voting block.

Cook County Sheriff's Department has been singlehandedly destroyed by Tommy. Morale is at an all time low, from courts, corrections, and Sheriff's Police. Patrol units (single man units) are being stretched so thin that your back up is at least five minutes away. Officers, from the reports I read are being attacked by inmates, and these same inmates are then rewarded by Tommy and his administration. Tommy says these clients are mentally ill and they need our help! Funny thing is, Tom has never walked a day in our shoes as officers, but he'll definitely be ready for the camera. I just hope that someone with some Law Enforcement experience, and great leadership steps up and takes this guy out. And to my CPD brothers/sisters in blue, be safe out there.

Actually, she was a reporter and editor at the Finune.
He has appointed 200 "Directors" at 6 figure salaries to positions that make no sense, most of these people are connected to the Chicago newspapers, even Mike Flannery has a relative on the payroll. We always thought that the CPD with about a hundred exempt members was too much but Dart's outfit is a third the size of the CPD. What a total phoney.
