Another Day, Another Englewood Victim
- A 6-year-old girl was shot and seriously wounded Tuesday afternoon in the West Englewood neighborhood on the South Side.
The girl was in front of her home in the 6000 block of South Paulina about 1 p.m. when she was shot in the abdomen, according to Chicago Police.
She was taken in serious condition to Comer Children’s Hospital, police said.
Not sure how the denizens of 007 are going to make this into the police's fault, but we're betting that her "What I did on Summer Vacation" essay is going to be quite the story.

Sad, it's partly Rahm's fault. He gives community false hope and security. The people of Chicago need a leader that can low crime and bring jobs to the city. Instead we got a mayor that over regulates, soft on crime, and taxes the citizens out of their homes. Causing people to move away.

At the time of the shooting ... Lee Goodman and his 3 gun control protestors were up in East Dundee outside of GAT Guns demanding they stop the violence. I always wonder why they are always seem to be in nice, safe suburban locations and never seem to make it to Englewood to protest violence?
