The Mayor, who Ja Mal always rips on and wears the Tahm failed us shirts, writes a letter for a show of support for Ja Mal. That is a slap in the face to every Chicago Police Officer.

In case FOP doesnt know how to get transcripts: they will have to order the transcript by calling the court reporter's office at 26 n cal. They need the docket number. It will take between one to two weeks to get transcribed from date the case was up. Then pay the court reporter directly with a check.. it costs just under $200. Final product gets delivered FedEx

I'm in MS-probably a futile gesture, but I sent an email to the mayor's office to tell him that this is an unprecedented action even for a Chicago politician, and that I'm making sure to tell everyone I know that when faced with supporting police officers or a criminal who attacked them, he wrote an actual letter of support supporting the criminal which was produced in court. It is breath-taking in its arrogance and disregard of the people who guard his own worthless life. I just want him to know that this support for criminals against his own police is gettiing out and astounding us here in the sticks. I'm certainly going to do what I can to make sure that it does.

Jimmy confronted him, and when that exchange ended; Jimmy said flat out, "We are not going on the street". Nobody left their seat. The W.C. ordered everyone to leave, nobody moved. Back then we rotated watches every 28 days, so the Third Watch was ordered to remain on the street, until a Field Deputy came in. He "Pleaded" with the Watch, and Jimmy confronted him as well! The Deputy assured the Watch that he would remove the Lt. immediately, which he did. They buried the Moron Lt. at H.Q.. Back in the day there were more than a few incidents where coppers stood up, and united they were a formidable force. There was an incident in 023, where a Wagon Crew refused to pick up a dead AIDS victim, because they felt they were not properly equipped or trained. Tom Walton came out and ordered them to remove the corpse. The Wagon crew declined. A Wagon was brought in from another Dist. and the Wagon Crew from 023 was written up, insubordination. There was no punishment, the Dept. dropped charges. Then there was the Judge, who had ruled in favor of someone who beat a female officer while she was on duty. The FOP even had buttons made up that said told us what lever to pull to have the judge removed at election time. AND IT WAS THE FIRST TIME IN MODERN HISTORY THAT A SITTING JUDGE WAS NOT REINSTATED! Along with the rest of our Membership, we are 100% sure everyone remains extremely frustrated, angered and more than a bit concerned about getting to the bottom of the Mayoral letter that was reported by some in the media to have been submitted in support of a Police-fighter. This same offender was recently charged with punching a Commander of Police during an anti-Police demonstration and also charged with attempting to disarm an Officer.
What we have learned thus far is that the media might have reported a crucial aspect of this story incorrectly. When we pushed City Hall for a copy of the alleged letter, we received a letter dated June 10, 2015 which we were told was mailed out to numerous volunteers who worked on the city-sponsored, 'Put the Guns Down' anti-violence campaign. We were also informed that the original letter was in no way intended to be used as support of any kind concerning this person's recent arrest; nor to help him to be removed from electronic monitoring or to assist him to once again use social media. If we are to believe this explanation, it could be construed that the Court was misled.
We are in no way taking a position of supporting City Hall, nor are we encouraged by their lack of strongly speaking out against the misuse of their letter. Along with the entire Fraternal Order of Police, Chicago Lodge No. 7 Membership, we continue to wait on some type of official statement from the Mayor, from the Chicago Police Department, from any elected official, or from any media source interested in correcting any mistruth reported concerning this event. Rather than wait any longer on responses we know are not forthcoming, the Lodge must not only address these statements, but also caution the media to be cognizant of maintaining accuracy when reporting on such hot-button issues.
Once again, Lodge 7 stands alone as the only voice supporting the women and men of the Chicago Police Department.

Sent Dean Angelo an e-mail asking him what he's going to do about Rahm supporting people who attack police. Here's his response:
We are getting a copy of the 'actual' letter that was delivered to the judge on behalf of the offender. We have been informed that this letter was disseminated to a cast of people who were working for the 'put the guns down' events from june of 2015 and NOT written for support to get out on these charges or off the ankle bracelet.
We will keep everyone posted on what happens as things play out. Go figure, the media isn't accurate...

Rahm is a North Shore liberal that never had any connection to Chicago. Other than allegedly getting his ass kicked at Marquette Park by being self-righteous. He has shown nothing but contempt and hatred for the City of Chicago, its citizens and especially its Police Officers.
As others have said, "An attack on Police Officers is an attack on us all", the attack and attempted disarming of a Police Captain at a crowded public gathering shows the suspect's contempt for law, order and public safety. It is not not to envision the SH getting control of the weapon and it discharging, injuring or killing a bystander. It is only luck that prevented that from happening.
For Rahm to show his support for a person that would do that demonstrates that Rahm Emanuel is mentally and morally unfit to be Mayor of Chicago and should be impeached and removed from office as soon as possible.
Abc7 news took the mayors name off their link, Figures. This letter was still presented to the Judge and was told by his attorney it was a letter of support. That's misleading the court.

Why wouldn't Dandy Dean sign the email. I've received many emails that had Dandy Dean's signature. What gives?
Heard on 560 AM this evening that protesters were arrested and 2 were charged with felonies for punching coppers. Heard a rumor that the protesters whined about the felony charge and the Cleveland coppers said you ain't in Chicago any more Dorothy. Here the charges STICK !! Suck it up asshole!
