If you leave for that many years as a mercenary for PRickwrinkle's machine, does CPD really need you back? And those undiscovered financial mismanagement incidents - is this really what Special Ed wants around?

Given it is Special Ed, the answer is Yes.
Just put him in charge of something safe and harmless, like intelligence.

If you disagree, post the incident, name or occasion when Hamilton did anything other than help other cops. The incident where he earned that Medal of Valor was a shooting, when he was on a Tac Team on the South Side. The Offender shot at his partner, and they returned fire and shot the offender dead. Gotta disagree Baby G.. He is a political animal. We have enough of them. Weis was just a clueless fool that tried to buy love with a 4 and 2 work day. Bad for the taxpayers, but he so wanted to be loved he pushed it forward. That's how clueless he was, he really thought that would work.
