Tribune Smoking Crack Again

  • Electing Cook County's top prosecutor: It's rare to have this good a choice
Wow. That must be some good drugs going around the Tower.

On one hand, you have Prickwrinkle's handpicked tool who has already had ethical problems, been assessed fines for her illegal election activities and is currently embroiled in another Conflict of Interest scandal.

And on the other hand, you have an underfunded Republican with two decades plus experience prosecuting actual criminals, which means he won't get a fair shake from the most ethically corrupt politicians and morally bankrupt press.

I posted this on Face Book SCC:

As I have stated many times, my morning'first reads' are Second City Cop (SCC) and The Beachwood Reporter - two dependable and wildly dissimilar news feeds. One is by a very talented writer who happens to be a Chicago cop and the other is edited and published by Steve Rhodes a gold standard liberal of unimpeachable integrity.
http://www.beachwoodreporter.com/
Today, SCC offers this cold, sober and accurate assessment of Chicago Editorial Board ( Bruce Dold) gushing propganda for Kim Fox (Toni Preckwikle) as Cook County' Top Prosecutor.
Voila!

Cook County state’s attorney candidate Kim Foxx was fined nearly $20,000 Monday by the Illinois State Board of Elections after missing a variety of deadlines for filing campaign disclosure forms and failing to report a substantial donation from Cook County Board President Toni Preckwinkle.

University of Illinois at Chicago professor Dick Simpson says it's "unusual" to see out-of-state donors get involved in local races like this, though he noted that a little over half of the campaign contributions Mayor Rahm Emanuel raised between 2010 and 2015 were also from outside of Chicago.

Alvarez’s campaign blasted Foxx for accepting two donations of $3,500 each from the Roosevelt Group and Reyes Kurson, both listing Reyes as president in their official filings with the Illinois secretary of state, according to a statement from the Alvarez campaign.

Foxx also accepted $1,000 from the Roosevelt Group in December, records show.

Reyes, a former political adviser to Mayor Richard M. Daley and former chief of the Hispanic Democratic Organization at the center of the city hiring scandal, is a registered lobbyist through his firm Reyes Kurson

Foxx was found guilty and fined for campaign violations. Now she is caught working / lobbying / "consulting" (a word that in Cook County is defined as making sure you know who to pay off to get what they want) for a company that has successfully sued the county (tax payers) for over $6,000,000.00 (6 million) while Foxx has been employed as a "consultant". Although Foxx listed "consulting" on her political forms, Foxx failed to mention it was for the firm doing business with Cook County. Oh did I mention this firm also gave the Foxx campaign a large sum of money?

Is this the type of justice reform that the hard working tax payers of Cook County are looking for?

Foxx also stated that she would not recuse herself from any future dealing with this firm. She related it to if her daughter punched someone in the face on the playground and was prosecuted it (not really sure what parent would use their young child in that violent scenario to make a political point, but to each their own), in other words attempting to justify her political corruption. Do you honestly believe that if you are a victim of a crime and the offender is represented by this firm, do you think your offender is going to receive the penalty he deserves?

This is only the beginning, she hasn't been elected yet. Although it seems to me that Foxx believes the voters are so dumb and ignorant, that she can even openly discuss her corruption, ignore her past corruption violations, and still be elected.

Now if she does somehow fool the tax payers and wins the election, what type of arrogant, corrupt, and lawless type of behavior do you expect to get from Foxx when she is locked in place for 4 years?

This truly may be the Foxx in charge of the hen house.

I can't believe anyone with any brains would vote for Kim Foxx.

She thanked the BLM at her victory party. She received money from BLM for her campaign. She has been found guilty of campaign funding violations and paid a hefty fine.

Wake up. I don't care if your democrat, republican, or libertarian, you would have to be downright ignorant to vote for Kim Foxx. Use your vote wisely.

Foxx's answer about the potential conflicts of interest related to her sinecure post at the law firm of Power, Rogers & Smith was risible. If she attended a legal ethics class at Southern Illinois University Law School, she would have learned that a lawyer has continuing obligations to former clients as well as current clients. So, yes, a State's Attorney representing Cook County could have conflicts if a former client was a party to a case with the county.

Foxx would be an absolute embarrassment as State's Attorney, but she has the (D) after her name on the ballot.

This Kim Foxx person is bad news. Really bad news. She’s a clone of the Baltimore top prosecutor and a complete tool of the get-whitey, social justice crowd. Too many black folks in jail she claims. What do people think the solution will be? Yesterday, she wouldn’t even commit to going after repeat violent gun-possessing offenders.

This election needs more serious consideration than the usual life-long democrat straight-ticket approach. BTW: there’s plenty of outside social disruption money flowing into her campaign, including from PACs funded by the leftist radical George Soros. This guy is one of the main financial props of the BLM rent-a-mob crew. Foxx must be defeated and folks need to get the word out. The Chicago media will glorify her and minimize her very qualified opponent Christopher Pfannkuche. The People need to take this one in their own hands by showing-up to vote.

“I don’t know what he’s done, to help somebody other than himself,” he said.
He (Obama) thanked the African-American community (SOME OF THE PEOPLE) for supporting him as president, but warned listeners (SOME OF THE PEOPLE) that all of the accomplishments that he had achieved (FOR SOME OF THE PEOPLE) could be rolled back (FOR SOME OF THE PEOPLE) by Trump.

But of course, those ethical problems and conflicts of interest are resume enhancers for a democrat. Nothing to see here, especially from the media's standpoint. But heavens forbid if it was a conservative with those same issues, it would be top headlines 24/7 until the election.
The media has too much power and needs to be reined-in as they are just as corrupt as the left is. They need to answer for their corruption, and failure to report fairly. And after the trials are held and sentences need to be carried out, I'd gladly volunteer to throw the switch.

We thought "HIMSELF" to be a smug, insufferable, tone-deaf,
educated enough to be dangerous mis-mothered fuck when

Anita Alvarez was no great shakes as State's Attorney. Traditionally, very few Cook County State's Attorneys managed to be elected to three consecutive terms. It is a difficult job. Nonetheless, Alvarez lost the primary because Rahm Emanuel threw her under the bus and made her the scapegoat for his own botched handling of the Laquan McDonald shooting.

Nobody in his or her right mind who supports the police can support Toni Preckwinkle's stooge, lying Kimm Foxx. Her crackpot "empty the jail" policies would promote anarchy.

Read the letter Prekwinkle sent to the Tribune. She blames John Kass for being racist and the violent crime on the " root cause" of poverty. She is against tougher laws on gun violators. She wants more money pumped into the black community. So you can see which way Foxx will be going when she gets into office. Never mind the fact that NO ONE has determined poverty to be the root cause of violent crime. It is an insult to poor people around the world. maybe she should go on YouTube and look at some of the gang videos posted by these deprived black youth. Personal responsibility?
