One Criminal at a Time
- A male, whose age was not yet known, was fatally shot while trying to rob two people inside a vehicle in the 4300 block of South State Street in the Robert Taylor Homes neighborhood on the South Side, police said.
The robbery happened about 8:20 p.m. Wednesday as a 22-year-old man and another man sat inside the car. Two men who had been walking in the area approached the car armed with guns and announced a robbery, police said.
That's when the 22-year-old man, who has a valid concealed gun license, shot one of the offenders, police said. The second offender left the area. No one else was injured. Detectives continue investigating the incident.
Just make sure he gets his gun back soon.

If an Individual protects his or herself, it goes against the Liberal Progressive Agenda, that citizens must be totally dependent on Government from Cradle to Grave. Why does the Police confiscate the gun of the "male" with a valid CCP? Is this so the one that got away can extract his revenge without fear of getting the same medicine his friend got?
If it is, it's a slow way of getting rid of law abiding tax paying citizens. Unless you counting on the publicity of an unarmed CCP holder killed in revenge shooting.
Let the man keep his gun. Just take a photo and record the make, model and serial number.
