Trib Loses Its Mind

First they endorse Garry Johnson.

Then they spend this entire editorial blaming Machine democrats (specifically Anita) for crime numbers rising:
  • From policing to prosecution to trial to incarceration to parole, citizens are demanding better of their criminal justice system. There's heightened public scrutiny of street stops, arrests, charging decisions, judges who slow-walk cases, and insufficient state penalties for repeat gun offenders — the list goes on.

But as violent crime rates rise, citizens, too, will have to do more — especially to help police and prosecutors find perpetrators and put them away. That will mean building connections and trust between people in law enforcement and the impoverished communities where criminals prey on innocents.
And the Tribune endorses - the Machine politician, hand-picked by Toni Prickwrinkle, who's busy building her own Machine, to straighten out a system broken by.....Machine politicians. Makes perfect sense.

Nothing but a cheap scam to try and draw votes from Trump. What a sickening underhanded rag.

The media isn't supposed to make sense. They are the propaganda arm for the democrat party or a party faction.

Every trick in the book to get Trump supporters to vote Johnson. We need to make our streets safe and stop democrats from killing people. We are headed to 700 murders of mostly black on black crime. These career politicians do not want Trump to win. Think about it. It is common sense. Social science experiments are for lab rats not human beings in major cities.
Things can change in a matter of weeks with homicides down 65% in 2017. Wake up people. By the way if that Detroit Chief reads this blog listen up. Your homicides went down after a large portion of the population left and the remainder killed many of the offenders and visa versa.

Chicago Tribune endorses Kim Foxx for Cook County state's attorney

--------

CHICAGO (AP) - The Illinois Board of Elections has fined Cook County state’s attorney challenger Kim Foxx $20,000 for failing to report a campaign poll paid for by County Board President Toni Preckwinkle.

The fine also covers the failure of Foxx’s campaign to meet deadlines to file campaign disclosure forms. Election officials say Foxx’s campaign filled a quarterly campaign report 73 days late last year, and for reporting 10 individual contributions of $1,000 or more a day late.

No newspaper should ever endorse a political candidate. When they do, they just jumped into the pocket of said politician. Now, rather than have an impartial very special duty bestowed upon the press by the very firt of the Bill of Rights provided for in our constitution they are complicit in the election. It does not matter who the politican is or what party, they should not do it. But they do, they tarnish their reputation and the readers like you and me stop consuming their product. I was downtown for a week in Daley Center. When I got off the train on day two I was walking up Canal and there was a guy who could not give the Sun Times away for free. They did it to themselves.

Tangentially related: did anyone notice that Ald. Willie Cochran, co-chair of the committee on police reform, was a no-show to City Council the day of the vote on the accountability ordinance last week? Might have something to do with the things that Mark Brown brought up in his article in the Sun-Times (10/9) about possible campaign finance malfeasance.

The Trib's editorial pretty much said that they endorsed Fox because she was black (the voice of the community needed to be a specific skin color).

Criminals prey on the innocents of the middle class and wealthy communities. They are the ones who won't fight back.

What. The. F--k. is THIS! ....
>>>> 'We (the Tribune Editorial Board) want a state's attorney who'll focus on police misconduct, fairness to defendants and incarceration rates of the guilty.' <<<<

Focusing on police misconduct is the number one priority?!?! Since f--king when? I thought the job of the States Attorney was to prosecute criminals to the fullest extent of the goddamned law. No matter who the hell they are -- NOBODY is 'Too big to Jail' -- and no matter what they're skin color is.

The incarceration rates of the guilty is f--king irrelevant!! What do these assholes want, a scenario where the States Attorney goes; .......
--->> 'Nope, we can't prosecute Jamal for Murder, he's Black. We already tried three Blacks this week for that so we have to find a White Guy, it's 'their turn'.' <<---
Not only is that ludicrous, it's just a tad UN-fucking-Constitutional. It kind of violates that Equal Justice Clause in that 14th Amendment thingy.

Last but not least, a Fair Trial is assumed as a given you bleeding heart moron pinheads. You might not like the outcomes due to a certain segment of society being over represented, and that blows your leftist 'narrative' to hell, but that's not the fault of the justice system. That's the fault of 'the community', the families living there, THE VALUES of how these people are being raised.

In short Tribune, take this insipid screed and stick it up your collective asses.

ps: Try having the cops' backs you f--king losers. They're the Good Guys!!

The Trib, known to re-use old crime scene file photos depicting the image that only multiple white police officers are assigned to "the underserved communities".

May you never forget:

12/30/20115 Chicago Tribune –
"It's hard for me to believe that the police in the city of Chicago could get away with the shootings and executions of young black and brown men if the victims of those shootings and executions were white," Preckwinkle said. "There's a culture in the police department, I think, and in our larger society that black and brown lives don't matter in the same way that the lives of white people matter.

Law and Order, there's only one candidate that can begin a revolution to end career politicians that are All Talk-No Action.
Register - Vote TRUMP.

It's their hatred of police that fueled their contempt for Anita and their love of Preckwinkle's puppet. They view Anita as pro-police and they know that Foxx will be a Chicago version of Marilyn Mosby in Baltimore. Indicting cops to make BLM happy. Time to move.

It's a throwaway vote. Not a good idea.

I will vote for TRUMP and every other Republican on the Illinois ballot. I encourage every other American, especially police officers to do likewise.

The exception is I don't like Democommunist Duckworth or R.I.N.O. Kirk.
There I will Libertarian.

But for God's sake Register and VOTE and bring everyone you can with you. We wouldn't have all these retirement medical and pension problems if Rahm FEARED US as a voting block like he does the teachers.

It's like they don't even read the nonsense they publish. Fox is Prickwrinkle's lap dog, and Prickwrinkle's statement about too many black and brown people in jail should have made the tribune immediately refuse to endorse her. How can you have an impact on crime if your master doesn't want you to prosecute the black and brown people who are committing most of the crime? Congratulations tribune you are officially at the same pandering useless level as the Sun-Times.

I'm a visitor to your great city and it is interesting to read your blog. It brings to mind several questions.

1) Who the fuck is voting for the machine? I hear how bad the budgets, pension deficits, taxes, etc. are in Illinois and Chicago specifically but yet people remain in office forever doing the same shit they have always done (I'm thinking Madigan since he is the most visible). There can't be that many people that support this crap.

2) Who thought it was a good idea to put Special Ed in charge of the police? He is an idiot at best.

3) Are the Republicans even worth voting for here or are they machine hacks just running under a different label?
