Poetic

  • Thaddeus “T.J.” Jimenez — who became a multimillionaire four years ago in a wrongful-conviction lawsuit against the Chicago Police Department — just lost about $6 million of that fortune for shooting a man.

In 2012, a jury awarded Jimenez $25 million in the lawsuit he filed against the police.

Since then, though, he has spent his money on Lamborginis and other fancy cars; real estate; and on men whom he recruited into his gang, the Simon City Royals. He paid them to tattoo the gang logo on their faces in return for thousands of dollars each, police say. Earlier this year, he told a federal judge he’s now practically broke.

On Friday, Jimenez’s legal windfall took a huge hit when a Cook County judge awarded $6.3 million to a man whom authorities say Jimenez shot and wounded about a year ago.
Word on the street was the old gangsters were about to kill this asshole anyway, so he's probably a tiny bit safer behind bars. Maybe not if he's broke though.

Thaddeus always had 20 or 30k in cash on him. He rode around like a 3rd world dictator with his buddies in a caravan of cars. Shit, if I got that kind of cash, I'd be busy trying to make it into 50 million, a place in Idaho, winters in the Mediterranean or Hawaii.

That fool would take all his asshole friends to Vegas, I suppose he fronted the miscreants gambling. This is why you can't give stupid people money, they don't have a clue what to do with it other than spend it foolishly.

Finally some justice being served, but a dirt nap would of been much better, we would save tax money in incarceration costs! Is this anaimal even a legal citizen? maybe rahm could give him some of the tax rebate money he has to much of like he gave away over 1 million to protect the illegal invading criminals who are violating federal alws as the ballerina fully supports criminal activity, no wonder this city is so out of control! How can the mayor expect anyone to obey the law when he boldly breaks the law and dares the President Trump to remove the criminals. Rahm needs to be locked up and whoever else supports this criminal activity harboring criminals need to be removed. Since we are friends with Putin and tommy is closing down the jail tearing down buildings (the family and friends kickback sale), why not send out criminals illegal invaders and fuck it our animal thugs add in the elected that protect the criminals on rail cars there to a work camp bet they would not want to be arrested again!

If you honestly don't believe that the swat selection process is subject to clout and the favoritism that accompanys it you are either naive or delusional. Clout affects every testing process on CPD.

Swat was supposed to be an improvement over hbt and it is but it has never broken free of the problem of clout. Hbt personnel were taken from sos which was already a clout unit so it was never a surprise that the hbt guys were all heavy as whale shit (in addition to some of them being as big as whales). Swat on the other hand was supposed to be a legit unit but from the beginning there have been examples of testing "inconsistencies" during tests for pos and sgts trying out for swat. These inconsistencies seem to favor the clouted, funny how that works. That's not to say that there aren't some fit and skillful swat officers because there are but there are also swat officers that are only there because they have clout.

And there's no reason to bring this to the attention of the "test proctors" because it is already known to the test proctors/swat instructors as well as the swat supervisors, but when you have a swat Lt that is only the swat co because of his clout then its understandable why this shit continues. And sorry but having some fucking civilian lackey from personnel walking around during some of the testing does not make it any more legit.

Something is either 100% legit or it's not. There's no "mostly" legit or "pretty" legit.

And btw there's no Santa Claus either kid.

Merry Christmas.

Just like inspectors or present for this most recent canine test. Doesn't mean a fucking thing when they're all in cahoots. Just look at everybody who is in this first class and it's pretty easy to see they're all connected. Everybody that got a dog off this new list do they were getting a dog from the moment the test was announced, if not sooner. FACT.

I became friends with a few Rangers in Ranger school, I was one of 8 Marines in the class. One of the hardest schools I ever went through. With that said, Rangers are known and respected for their "No quit attitude", dedication to the mission, and integrity. If this guy is truly a Ranger and knows he didn't legitimately pass the swim test, then he should drop from the selection process, learn how to swim and then redeem himself on the next test.

12/12/2016 08:13:00 PM
Anonymous Anonymous said...

Just because a person was an army Ranger doesn't mean they are qualified for some other specialty like SWAT. if you aren't in the military then you are on the outside looking in. There are cowards in the military, just like there are cowards in the CPD and LAPD and every other organization. Most aren't, but they are out there, and they are good at hiding it. And as far as clout, yeah, it's a factor and that discourages people who would actually be good at whatever unit they might try for. The victory is in the struggle not the title. But that's not how it works here. And let's face the question does one want to be SWAT because they love the job, or they just love the attention they get? That's a difference between the military and police. Coppers walk on each other to get in a unit, soldiers do it for their unit. The man makes the title, the title doesn't make the man.

if I fell in the water..why would I just want to tread water, fuck, I would sure as hell try to swim to safety! I'm pretty sure if you fall in any body of water in Chicago as a SWAT operator, you can swim your way to safety.

12/13/2016 10:59:00 PM

Not if you are out in the middle of the lake boarding another vessel. Good luck swimming to safety hundreds of yards off the shore in full swat gear. You are going to have to be comfortable enough in the water to dump your gear and wait for help. I know, when we'll swat ever board a vessel? Probably never, but that's why they added the swim test in the first place. They were supposed to be conducting joint operations with the Marine Unit. Regardless, if it's part of the testing process you have to be able to do it.

What's does climbing a ladder or crawling through a tree house have to do with swat? I think it's a complete waste of time, but it's part of the process and should be completed the right way. If this guy gets a pass for being a Ranger then why even make him take the test?

12/14/2016 12:17:00 PM

By the way, no one knew he was a Ranger or supposedly a Ranger until the big mouth spilled the beans. Now the cat is out of the bag. Just further proof of favoritism. You here that boys/girls?
