Video:

Man Posing as UPS Delivery Driver, 3 Others Wanted in Violent Robbery, Police Say

A man who posed as a UPS delivery driver and three others are wanted in a violent robbery, caught in part on camera, according to Houston police.

The robbery occurred on Nov. 22 around 8:40 p.m. local time at a residence on Willers Way in Houston, Texas, police said. A surveillance camera outside the home captured part of the incident, according to police.

In the surveillance footage, one suspect -- clad in a UPS jacket and brown baseball cap, and carrying a package -- is seen approaching the door to the residence. Police said the man rang the doorbell, claiming he needed a signature for the package.

After the homeowner opens the door, the surveillance footage appears to show the man forcing his way into the home. Three other suspects brandishing guns and wearing hoodies or masks then appear and also enter the home.

Upon entering, police said the suspects assaulted a man inside the residence with a pistol. At some point during the struggle, a shot was fired, though no one was struck, police said.

The man was later transported to a local hospital for severe neck and head injuries, police said. Two women inside the house were able to grab two small children and lock themselves

The USAF in cooperation with the City of Chicago should do a firepower demo in Marquette Park (place of my misspent youth). Put out some junk cars and trucks, set up some bleachers. The announcer can say, See that gray speck off in the distance, now watch the vehicles. And puff, they are gone. The AC 130 carries a 25MM Gatling gun, a 40MM semi auto cannon and a 105 MM Howitzer. At one mile up and one mile out all systems can hit within less than 3 feet of the target, plus they own the night. I hear them practicing over the Eglin AFB Ranges at night. Before the USAF became politically correct the nose art on the planes had a skeleton firing a Gatling gun with the motto "Kill them all,let God sort them out."

We have always had ODPO's or retirees following trucks from Thanksgiving till a few weeks after Christmas. Not all routes are covered, but most are. FedEx is another story. They tend to leave doors unlocked and trucks running while dropping packages. If you loose a UPS package due to your not following UPS procedures, its coming out of your check. That policy tends to keep doors locked and keys out of the ignition while running up to the door. We have other tool that are used to deter and recover if something occurs. The drivers safety is always first and will always be. A BIG thanks to all the PO's retired and active that make our people safe on the street and in our buildings.

The Xmas season will end and boogie will be back to car jacking and north side store robberies, no more boxes of goodies to bring home to their hoe's and miscreants.

We could all step up and give an eye to any delivery truck we see stopping anywhere. it might be right thing to do since we are the Police.

And then there are the UPS pickup locations, stores that accept parcels and missed deliveries and you have to go their to get your package. The future, no home delivery, a pickup point or it goes back to sender.

In Chicago, one does not have wonder what it's like in Mogadishu or Detroit
The feral community punks seem to adapt to all conditions and trends in crime faster than the seasons turn.
Since they stolt' my inflatable Santa, I'm going to keep my groundhog indoors until after Feb 2 so they won't steal him too.
This is how wise taxpayers adjust to the Rahm's feral (urban terrorism) predators.
They could fill the trucks with job applications as a deterrent, but hiring standards a bit stringent unlike CPD.
I wonder...does Moose Jaw put out Chinese knock-offs on their racks yet for the regular undescribed midnight looters?

When did this stop?! That's so stupid. We had them attached on a couple missions but I never saw them real-world employment but would sure liked to have! The A-10s loud destructive fart noises were always cool.

They will not be punched in the face or shot at or taken hostage. Protect your company and your drivers. Take a fucking clue mayor Rham. He lost Chicago years ago and the downward spiral continues. Rham is Hillary wearing a skinny diaper.
