Cops Injured
- Two Chicago police officers were injured while making an arrest in the South Shore neighborhood and four others were injured after two unmarked police vehicles crashed Saturday morning, police said.
Two officers were injured while trying to arrest a person in the 7400-block of South Kingston Avenue at about 12:45 a.m., police said. The suspect was eventually taken into custody after officers used a Taser.
After responding to a call for back up, two unmarked police vehicles on their way to assist the officers crashed near 71st Street and Stony Island Avenue. Four officers were hospitalized as a result of the crash. Police said their injuries are non-life threatening.
A speedy recovery wished to all.

Mayor Rham said nothing. Thats your boss.
Slow down....Simply said, slow the heck down. We know you want to help out, but it doesn't do any good if your speeding rushing to the scene and you get into an accident and get hurt. Slow down
There's a Painting of Cops as Animals Hanging in US Capitol

How about that! Now we are shamed in the capitol of this lousy urban scum we protect.
Lousy way to start the new year. Hopefully, those non-life-threatening injuries are also non-life-altering.
Best wishes to all involved.
You don't do anybody a damn bit of good if you get injured on the way to the scene. Slow the fuck down!
Clear your intersections! Arrive Alive!!!! Prayers for a full and speedy recovery

@@@@@@
Only one word can describe you sir.. that word is coward. Well maybe two words, spineless coward. Yeah, that's better.
This incident is gonna be scrutinized and the POs involved are gonna have a hard time justifying it. More stripped officers imminent.
Have to jump paper.
Wow! Thanks for all the advice but when someone calls for help I'm getting there as quick as possible. Shit happens but thanks to the armchair quarterbacks.
You should ALWAYS back up your fellow officer, regardless of how you feel about them. When responding to a call for help you must still arrive in one piece to be of any help. Get there as quickly as possible WITHOUT sacrificing safety. Clear your intersections, watch for the unexpected. Car injuries can last a lifetime.
