He was indeed grabbed for a domestic. A buddy of mine with the county told me about it. Also has previous domestics and a warrant out of warren county, per my sheriff friend. The mope was given electronic monitoring but was trying to stay in will county which was no goed by the sheriff EM guys.

Animosity and hatred towards police has existed, largely in the same communities and organizations they are in now since before you swore in. What you're seeing now is the same hate and animosity but with social media and tv coverage. Basically it moves faster and covers larger area than ever before. White tree hugging hipsters hated cops before 2008. Sovereign citizen like predecessors hated us before 2008. Criminals and people in poor neighborhoods hated cops before 2008 (hillbilly, ghetto, Appalachia...pick one).
I don't care what Obama was "supposed to be." That's called marketing. Just like Trump is supposed to "Make America Great Again." It's a slogan buddy. It's an image...that's it. If you buy it, that's on you. I don't.
HRC didn't win then for one of the same reasons she didn't win now. The right hates her with an extreme passion. It was arrogant for the dems to ignore that and put her up again. They got what they deserved for cheating to try to force her through.
Lastly, I didn't give you anything about him being black. His policies didn't cause people to hate us just like his healthcare policies didn't cause the country to unite behind that idea and that was his centerpiece legislation. Was he pro-police and encouraging for us? Nope. Did people that loved us before stop supporting us because of him? Nope. If you think we can keep all the same shootings and controversies we've had the last few years and the hatred wouldn't have brewed over just because of another president...I'm not going to waste my time. The fact is Obama had a ton of critics among black politicians, black scholars etc. and a lot of people thought he was "Uncle Tom" that did nothing for blacks. But you also think these same people were motivated by him to hate the police more than they already did. Stop watching so much tv and read a book. Read articles...read something. Before he started "community organizing" he had an ivy league degree and worked in the private sector in Manhattan with his own secretary, right out of college. He quit after a couple years because he felt unsatisfied and he started looking for "community" type of work to feel satisfied. It's not very different from a liberal friend of mind that worked for a bank making good money, right out college, and quit to join the Peace Corps. A bit idealistic? Maybe. But to each his own.
You don't have to like him or anybody else but allowing yourself to swallow and regurgitate headlines about that person that are easily refuted makes you look silly. If you think Trump, who clearly is more supportive of us and pro-police, or any other person in that office is gonna cause your street work to be more lovey-dovey and get people to like you more....I hope you're smarter than that.
