So Who's To Blame?

  • A murder suspect on the loose, but he didn't run from police. Instead, he walked right out of jail. Garrett Glover, 29, is an accused murderer. He is supposed to be locked up at Cook County Jail, held on $2 million bond.

Glover spent the last two years serving time for attempted armed robbery and is accused in the 2012 murder of a man shot and killed on the Dan Ryan Expressway. Late last week, a Cook County judge sentenced Glover to four years in state prison for the attempted robbery charge. On Friday, he was transported to state prison. Authorities there determined Glover had already served enough time to be eligible for parole. He was released.

Cook County Sheriff's officials said Glover should have been sent back to their custody. The time he'd served only counted for the separate armed robbery charge. In a statement from the Illinois Corrections Department, officials said they "did not receive any additional documentation or information indicating he should be held beyond his February 24th, 2017 release date."
In the meantime, the community is calling 24/7 with tips and clues about this murderer's whereabouts....

Just kidding!

UPDATE: A single rumor in the comment section....subject apprehended in 018...with a gun of all things. Anyone have info? As we said, simply a rumor, so take it with a grain of salt. Comment rumors are not always accurate.

If he were illegal alien, Dart would have released him anyway.

The blame falls on Dart's organization for failing to communicate, whether by phone, email, or letter, that the POS is to be transferred back to Chicago. Of course Dart will blame the State for failing to ask Chicago if they want the POS. Maybe the State should call every jurisdiction in Illinois next time before releasing a POS to determined if the POS is to be transferred. Yeah, that's it, blame the State for not having that protocol in place.

Well Dart and Preckwinkle did say there are too many Black and Brown people in jail!

I believe this was done on purpose by the dummycrat machine!

You know that there has to be some fault with the C C Sheriff (like not placing a hold) since Dart has his "chief policy officer" Cara Smith speak to the press. Otherwise, he would be prancing in his jogging suit for the media.

Why do they count the time waiting for a trial at county jail as time served on their eventual sentence? They should be separate. The mutts keep asking for continuance after continuance to spend more time at county and than just go home! Make the sentences to time in a penitentiary be counted when they enter a penitentiary! Make the judges work an actual work week and cut down on the jail time, scamming the system. Too many lawyers!

CBS shockingly seemed to get the answer grilling Cara Smith. They reported Smith admitted the Sheriff never produced the proper paperwork to IDOC. Then they had a litany of prior wrongful releases by the Sheriff. They had two more just this year, but of course the Tom Dart lap dog media didn't report it. But kudos to CBS for getting some answers this time!

I don't believe they caught him cause Toupee Tom would be all over TV claiming he personally captured the guy like the last murderer he let walk out the front door. That guy is such a clown.

To illustrate how much the press in the tank with Sheriff Dart. Just two days ago Sheriff transport bus pulled up to IDOC with a DEAD inmate. The inmate was doing dope on the Sheriff bus according to other inmates. I read the report and it didn't even make the news.

You mean to tell me they do no "quick search" before releasing? ? ? Something smells fishy... don't forget we had civilian court clerks fudging paperwork and selling info

Nice headline:
44 killed in Chicago in February; 94 murdered so far in 2017
http://abc7chicago.com/news/44-killed-in-chicago-in-february;-94-murdered-so-far-in-2017/1778846/

But wait solution:

Police touted promising early results from new technology and crime-fighting initiatives introduced this year, with a 40 percent drop in shootings in the Harrison District on the West Side compared to February 2016, and a 60 percent drop in the Englewood District on the South Side.

Drops but still ahead, drops unless your shot or dead! The cameras and all the bullshit is great "after" the carnage, but prevention is more police proactive policing, except proactive policing is gone thanks to the elected and dishonest police attacking media. People from obama saying police acted "stupidly" (What kind of word is this? Must be presidential in obamas world). Then we have rahm who went out of his way with the fake tears (bet his hollywood actor brother couched him how to act), when rahm went after the copper involved with shooting the thug who had a knife and was high on drugs saying so much to discourage police from doing anything!

President Trump says he "has our backs" he is a great man but until the feds come here and "put it on paper" what that exactly means sorry prison is not good for coppers i want to see my family grow. Since all 50 alderman carry the exempt style gold enforcement badge and can carry a gun why don't they go on patrol maybe take flaky jackson and the rest of the hate spewing revs out on patrol maybe they could show us how to patrol and show compassion, they talk alot of nonsense time to put it in drive show us!

Sentenced to 4 years for an attempt ARMED robbery. Does 2 in County before going to IDOC where it's determined he did his time and is released. Great system.

He probably will get caught. Likely within 10 blocks of his old address.

Because none of these big tough badass mofos have the brains and courage to actually run. Get free and start over. This waste of human life will likely live and die in the neighborhood, unless he dies in prison.

Its the job of the crook county jail to put criminals back on the street. Darts cleaning the place out and his new motto is "there's no such thing as a bad boy". Dart is to law enforcement like a termite is to a homeowner, a nuisance hellbent on causing destruction.

Silent Rahm & Prickwinkie, don't blame them.
If he was caught and it wasn't his cousin, Dart-KimmWrinkle already reduced his sentence by 2 months, he may be out by summer anyway.

Nice pinch, but preferred that he would have had a chance to be terminated by retribution on the weekend.
Maybe next time.

The guards are probably dumber than the detainees. Of course communication was bad - a murderer was released. Knowing how to read and write is no help if one is too lazy to read carefully and write clearly.

The current FOP administration is experiencing some serious infighting. I heard first hand. McDonough is blaming Dean,. Dean is blaming his ticket for not going to as many roll calls as he wanted them to and Ray Casiano is upset because he knows he is done. Meanwhile back at Area North Dean Jr.s new assignment. What A Joke. He spent his entire time in The 014th District on an entertainment team being taken care of, never locking anyone up,getting the ducks and being able to take off whenever he needed. So after all that hard work he is rewarded with Detective. I do not know a single person who I work with on 3rd Watch or 1st watch that voted for him or his father. This just disturbs me but I know it is how things work.

FYI, Glover was not apprehended by 018 Tact.
That arrestee in question by 018 is NOT the one let go by Dart, again just for the record.
Hope this clarifies the issue for now.
Stay Safe.

Serious in-fighting? Donahue and Dougherty want to kill Kevin Graham. The Blue Voice mailer hit mail boxes 5 or 6 days after the ballots were out. 3k retirees already voted. The election was lost by then. But I think most retirees want to kill Dougherty's after saying Obamacare was a good option for them. Donahue's 209K salary pisses off a lot of people too. Ag-u-lair sitting on the grievance on the destruction of CR#'s over 5 years has active and retired officers united in their hate for him too.

The thing is after 100 post about the problems the old city-wide team are plagued with, I have yet to see one post defending Dougherty's statements, Donahue's excessive salary, or Ag-u-liar's lazy streak. You have to wonder how the rest of the Blue Voice ticket fells about the old city wide goofs now? I have heard that they have said they should have merged with the new direction team. That team suspended their campaign already.
