Fentanyl Again

Ohio this time, and a very lucky copper:
  • A police officer ended up in the hospital after overdosing by accidentally touching a highly potent drug.

Chris Green, an officer from East Liverpool in Ohio, US, collapsed after he handled what was suspected to be Fentanyl.

The substance, a painkiller also used as a recreational drug, is 50 to 100 times more powerful than fellow opioids morphine or heroin.

Mr Green had searched a car on Friday night after the driver carried out an alleged drug deal.

The officer had worn gloves and a mask when searching the vehicle but, when he returned to his police station, a colleague noticed Mr Green had white powder on his shirt.

He instinctively brushed off the powder with his bare hand and, within a few minutes, began to collapse.
The ambulance crew and hospital had to give him FOUR shots of Narcan to bring him back. Something like this makes us believe that our opposition to Narcan in the squad cars needs a tiny little adjustment - save it for the copper who in unfortunate enough to have contact with this crap, not the junkies.

Narcan in the squad car? Uh no. We would be required to render aid to junkies in this backassed city. Sorry ain't doing. Coppers need to stop with the drug stops. Drugs are a self destructive vice. Let them off themselves.

This is what Narcan should be used for. Not for engaging in necromancy for POS junkies.

Just an example of why to use extreme caution around junkies and others using this shit, self preservation first last and always! This city where the elected pander to the thugs, felons, and illegal invaders breaking federal laws on immigration laws and the criminals watch as the elected from the county board toni to the rahm crew to the 50 followers approve of law breaking so why should anyone obey any laws here when the people that make the laws break the laws!

Although a synthetic, it's the real heroin that's still coming up from the border for home brew synth operations here.
Wonder what happened, did the Offender throw the crap around the car before he got his ass yanked out or was he just immune to the effects of the powder already laying about? Good they had Narcan handy...for LEO's.
Dope is for Dopes.
Where's the recreation in being stoned out on a potent dose pain killer?
But the liberal use of Narcan on dopers is a waste, both of time and expense.
Is it suppose to bring back the OD victim to the reality and responsibility to lead a productive life?
One of the goofy obama legacy efforts that won't be undone is the lenient laws for use of drugs for votes.
Looney California won't admit their drug problems, but Colorado is experiencing a drastic increase in unwashed homeless potheads.
Someone in 015 mentioned in a comment that multiple OD's at a nursing home last night.
Chicago always been a place for aspiring chemists to practice their craft.
Geeking up on chronic this summer is cool again.
Stay out of the ghetto.

Scary stuff. Why bring junkies back to life. They are the walking dead. Feel sorry for them but there is no cure. No coming back.

Fentanyl is a drug that belongs in the O.R.
Unfortunately, China is shipping in the powder
dirt cheap and illegally.
Back in the Lenny Bruce days, all you died from
was heroin. Junkies have no chance now, and are
pulling Law Enforcement down into their own vortex.
Another problem illegal opioid is U-47700.
Look it up; it's going around.

Why isn't this used in States that still have the death penalty - seems to put you to sleep and kill you in record time. Get a bag of 'heron' for a sawbuck, administer to inmate. Dead. Why the 3 drug cocktail that doesn't seem to have a good track record? Heck how about hanging or the guillotine??

Nitrile gloves: you can pick up some very high quality
(and re-usable) pairs from any good hardware store.
Don't trust department issue. Think like a criminal cooking
meth at home: protection equipment is everything. Spare
no expense. It's your life and that of your family.
A lot of junks are gonna get Darwin awards by Christmas.

What the hell does California have to do with this?

Illinois's opiate death rate is higher than California's and Ohio's opiate death rate is more than twice as high as California's. Based off 2015 data.

Save the narcan for Police Officers. Give the dopers an aspirin.
