Interesting Assumption
Following the killing of the 9-year-old kid this weekend, a pointed demonstration of how poisoned the atmosphere is after a few years of media lies, half-truths and slanted reporting:
- Raul Mendez, a 52-year-old who lives on the 3400 block of 95th Street, said he saw the SUV in the area near his house. He was inside, talking to someone on the phone, when he heard a man screaming.
"He was surrounded by police and I thought, 'Maybe they were torturing him or something like that.' But it turns out maybe that wasn't what was happening," Mendez said.
"He was screaming, 'Tell me he's not dead.' I walked up to the bridge where he started screaming all over again," he said. "He said, 'They killed my son, they killed my son,' in Spanish.
The cops on scene were cleaning up after a fatal motorcycle crash that had to attract this guy's attention, and his first thought is that the cops are torturing someone - in this day and age, in this atmosphere, with cameras and video everywhere. An allegation (torture) that has never been proven at any point in time in a court of law.

If this "gentleman" had reported to the media what he "thought" he saw, that would be front page headline news. When what actually happened became known, does anyone believe there would be a retraction, an apology, a public acknowledgement of being wrong?

People are stupid, like Raul Mendez. When he hears the music from an ice cream truck, he assumes the police raped and murdered an ice cream man and stole his truck, but they can't figure out how to turn off the music. When he hears gunshots, he assumes the police are shooting at random unarmed black men. Raul doesn't like the headaches that come from actually trying to use his brain, so he just chooses not to use it.
Yeah the Lemmings do and say what they are told. Not just them we have snowflakes on the job who mouth the official party line they are North Korean cops.

I saw this segment and was just shaking my head. I don't know wtf this guy is talking about. My single family bungalow home on a small lot in 016 is taxed a hell of a lot higher than a 2 story building on a double lot in a ghetto rat shit neighborhood. Not to mention the city utility increase exemptions if your home is valued under a certain amount. I mean the city is offering you a free home if you move to the hood and you work as a first responder!!! How much more fucking opportunity could they throw at you if you're a disatvaged person from these 'poverty stricken' areas. Become a cop. The application is free!! Who the fuck is this guy referring to about getting tax breaks ? The ultra rich? I don't live in the Trump Tower penthouse asshole.
