Prayers for GK from 004 who's undergoing a procedure tomorrow at U of Chicago for a serious illness. Please keep him in your thoughts and prayers. Thank you. Old 465 team.
Are the bribes all in already?
Glad that the judge is feeling better.
Remember to be respectful.
Don't burn down the courthouse until they rule in Rahm's favor.

As much as I want even a penny from the City because they screwed us. I don't want to give up my Aetna plan. The BCBS option they gave us cost more and from what I hear is horrible for the drugs. I remember the city saying this bcbs is not a City plan it's offered and administered by bcbs. The lawyers better be prepared to fight for everyone that was forced to change plans. Even the guy that bought individual supplemental or family non Medicare plans. See you in court.
What are the chances that the judge will rule on p.o.'s favor? Remember his name if he doesn't
He will use another sick day.
Good luck to them.
This is an honest question. A hearing on what exactly? I understand it has something to do with retiree health care, but what? Also what does it mean for everyone else that has to live in this fake ass police department? What about their health care?
This allows Rahm to keep kicking the van down the road.
We need a win so Rahm can justify his next 2018 tax increase.
But not until there time for a couple appeals and continuances.
If there's another can left to kick, expect Rahm to find one and respond.
The timing, deliberately to make sure that the courtroom wouldn't be packed with cops and firefighters is all you need to know about the pre-ordained outcome.
I hope it's good news for all coppers
Any INFO from our UNION regarding this matter. Oh, none of them stand to benefit from this ruling, so they don't care.
So what happened
From what I was told nothing was ruled on today. The city gets more time to reconcile the 2014/2015 refund. Another court date set on status of the healthcare. Attorney Krizlov asked the court about his fees? Krizlov is taking this to the Supreme Court. Of corse he is, he accepts donations. Judge is in the bag and Krizlov said it was being decided today. What a load of crap.
Any word on what happened?
What happened in court on Aug 09 any type of decision????

The lawyers better be prepared to fight for everyone that was forced to change plans? Better to rethink that statement. Krislov asked judge about his fees. He's not do this pro bono. Maybe it's time our "brothers CFD" get their union to donate instead of just riding in on our backs along with the other 2 city unions.

$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$
Autocorrect was right. It was referring to the fact that after the city takes our pensions and increases the cost of health care or eliminates it completely we will only be able to afford living in A VAN DOWN BY THE RIVER!!!
Here is the thing. The attorney has already been paid a few hundred thousand dollars in donations by us. Police being us. A few others have donated, but let's not assume that if the outcome is not positive that we blame fire and others. The attorney is goin g to keep taking money until it is over. If he is awarded fees by the judge is he going to give our meaning police money back? Let's not forget he already made well over a million dollars the last time this was settled. It's a cash cow that has only cost him time so far. Billable hours. No experts, just time. What I don't understand is why when asked he doesn't say how much he has been given to date he just tells everyone who didn't give and uses the line "war chest". I hope he wins but don't think for a minute we are going to see any of the money we gave him already back.
