Media Hypocrisy
The media is full of hypocrites, and never was it more on display that this past week.
Here's the coverage of the cop making his political statement with the flag. They give his name, his disciplinary history, suspension days, side job (that he then got fired from), and pretty much his career.
And the two cops kneeling? Zero. Zip. Nada. Nothing from the "Invisible Institute" website that outlines all sorts of complaints. Nothing about a shooting that cost the city a few hundred thousand dollars. Why the double standard?
So who's pulling the media strings to promote this blatantly biased "reporting" that passes as "news"? All this does is divide and we're heading into two very serious events that are going to tax police resolve, manpower and institutional cohesion:

The law enforcement community should join the VFW and boycott the NFL.
Who needs the thug league? I didn't watch any games Sunday and enjoyed the day sitting in my yard relaxing. No news no football and no aggravation. Can't wait till next week.

So name the names of the 2 broken "brothers". They are clearly not part of the team stop protecting their identity. They are no longer part of the thin blue line. They deserve to be called out. Also exactly what was the penalty for their actions. An enquiring minds wants to know.

From my understanding the Officer with the Flag posted this on social media under his own name so he therefore he identified himself. All of his disciplinary history was part of an already publicly sourced database with information obtained via FOIA. The two officers taking a knee were part of a social media post by a third party. In both of these incidents it appears the Department only stated the outcome of the incidents that being a reprimand for all involved and did not provide any identifying information. Now I see because one has bee identified (By himself) that the desire is for someone to identify the other two here on this page or in some other way. I ask the question why?

What did this accomplish? Nothing. Attention isn't something a cop needs from the media. And the media said John has 28 complaints 9 of which were sustained. Will they follow up on it and do a feature story like they did on DH who the media did a hit piece on over his DUI and the mayor's detail fiasco? John didn't start a revolution. We all know that it's a "Double Standard" when it comes to Chicago politics. It's no different stemming from the Affirmative Action of highering and promoting standards from the 70's and 80's til today's decision to decide who's disciplinary history gets published who's don't.

The irony in all of this is that Colin Kaepernick is the product of a White mother and African American father, who took off before Colin was born. Regardless of color, an unwed single mother was left to care for a child by herself without any help. His mother, knowing she couldn't raise Colin on her own, opted for adoption. He was raised by two parents, who participated in his life, and reared him to take advantage of his natural athletic and educational gifts.
Too many times the criminals affected by the police Colin so casually protests are also raised by single unwed mothers dependant on a Democratic system of government that rewards laziness. These criminals never had the opportunity to be reared in a supportive two parent household. Instead the fall prey to the street getting a ghetto education and learning to survive by breaking the law. This in itself increases their likelihood of being involved in a police encounter. Unfortunately, some of these encounters require police to use deadly force. The problem isn't the police, everything begins at home. If Colin were to own up to this reality and stop giving in to the false narrative and some assholes bullshit agenda, he might be employed right now. Honestly with a net worth around $20 million, I really don't think he gives a shit about the ghetto.
