Another Task Force?
Once again, from the brilliant mind of Eddie "foie gras" Burke:
- It’s no longer a matter of if, but when a truck is used to mow down innocent citizens in Chicago, an influential alderman said Monday.
Ald. Edward Burke (14th) made that statement before pushing a resolution through the Finance Committee he chairs urging the city to create a Chicago Vehicular Terrorism Task Force and report back in 120 days with a specific response plan.
That plan may include strategic installation of movable bollards in front of important buildings and other terrorist targets and regional coordination with truck rental agencies where terrorists might obtain their weapons of choice.
Brilliant - have the truck rental places racially profile clients? Form a new unit, taking coppers off the street to pore through rental agreements or run names thought some unknown non-existent data base?
Here's a better idea - require all rental vehicles to have the steering wheel airbag replaced with about half a pound of plastique explosive and two pounds of rusty nails and bolts. We'll hold the trigger here at SCC headquarters.

A Secret List that once your name goes on it, it's virtually IMPOSSIBLE to get your name removed. Even when your name is added to the list by mistake like a U.S. Senator and a few U.S. Congressmen have been in the past. Manpower and equipment for your police department is the answer. Since we are not at full staff where has all our budget monies gone. I'm so glad I only work in ghetto districts my whole career. Sure, people rammed other vehicles and people intentionally with vehicles (actually quite common). They were the true pioneers, in my humble opinion, Isis just improved on the practice. Thanks to our brass and the liberal fucks in this city, I don't have to stop these threats. In fact, we've been ordered not to. As long as that vehicle is the only weapon being used, deadly force is not authorized. Imagine that response to a truck attack here? "We let them run people over until they ran out of gas cuz, no weapon, ya know?" While I don't have to worry about downtown attacks, the attacked by the mutts on the south and west side will continue. I am obeying orders and stay out of their way. I'll try as hard as possible not to be in the position to fire or get run over/pinned/killed ever again by some ghetto shitbird. Need a paper car?

Chairs in roll call are no problem. On a weekend day or on 3rd or 1st watch just go into the front office and CAPTS and grab a bunch of chairs. There will be more than enough chairs to cover the guys attending roll call who are working the streets. Grab a few computers and you will have the best shopping site on the history
