I post for those who need a laugh

Whose days and nights are bleak

To answer posts of some who post

Those thoughtful and those weak

To tweak a beak and bust a ball

Or two is what I do

With some success and some regard

For those whom I may fool

So here it is and here we be

Each day and night to pass

Until that moment doth arrive

When we turn in our pass......

Now......what the fuck time is it supposed to be......???

Remember some of your readers are not from Chicago, or even USA. Here the clocks do no change for another month.

From Arizona where we do not use "Daylight Savings Time".

Old Indian said, "Only the white man's government could think of something like this. It is like cutting one foot off one end of a blanket and sewing it on the other end and somehow thinking you now have a longer blanket."

There is some talk of doing away with Daylight Saving Time as it was created for a rural economy. Now we have electric lighting and electronics and it is no longer needed.

As a sgt. back in the 80s and 90s, I had people/folks who were late, even when we pushed the clocks back in the fall.

Why do we have to change the clocks twice a year, an anyone think of a way to change this rule/law? SCC, you want to chime in?

Only a white man would cut off the top of a blanket, sew it on the bottom, then claim to have a longer blanket.

(Supposedly an American Indian statement about daylight savings time.)

Apparently Finance PEA's tore the shit out of the area around the U.C today.

I saw some dude on a bike make Aldercreature Burnetts Wife put a day pass on his M Plate to avoid a ticket on Warren.

And the OEMC is at it again on Wood/Monroe with their parking BS. Not even 8 months after Mass Suspensions at TMA for that crap.

The new cop said, " I don't know why every body fusses over changing their clocks" mine actually changes itself".

It's funny how the same people who are always an hour late on the spring-ahead days are never an hour early on the fall-back days.

24 states have tried passing legislation. Most recently California but it did not pass. Arizona still stands strong .

Remember, you are peeking in on the lives of Chicago Police officers here. We aren't peeking in on yours. For us, Daylight Saving Time began overnight.

The main purpose of Daylight Saving Time (called "Summer Time" in many places in the world) is to make better use of daylight. We change our clocks during the summer months to move an hour of daylight from the morning to the evening. Countries have different change dates.

Anybody who is getting their day-to-day living advice from an out-of-state niche blog deserves to be wrong.
