Right Rahm?
- A 5-year-old girl suffered a gunshot wound to the ankle on the Northwest Side, one of at least five people shot in Chicago since Sunday morning, according to Chicago police.
The girl was wounded after a male attacker started shooting at a male victim about 1:30 p.m. in the 4600 block of North Monticello Avenue in the Albany Park neighborhood, police said in a media notification. The girl was standing in a gangway when she was shot, police said.
She was taken in a private vehicle to Swedish Covenant Hospital for treatment, according to police.

Dear Abby-I am the wife of a police officer, and I hope you will permit me to suggest the following to your readers:
Please don't call us at home in the middle of the night when you think you hear a burglar, or are having a domestic dispute. Also, do not call us when your brother-in-law's nephew gets a ticket for exceeding the speed limit.
And please don't insult me by saying that our town is so small that nothing could possibly happen here. My husband doesn't wear a bulletproof vest and carry a gun for kicks.
I've heard parents in the school yard ridicule my husband and other police officers for issuing tickets to speeders on the main thoroughfare. This is the same road where their elementary school children walk home. If, God forbid, one of these kids gets hit by a car, guess who would be the first to complain that cops are good only for hanging out at the local doughnut shop?
Other than doctors, I don't know of any professionals who encounter more domestic violence, gunshot wounds, bloodied bodies from accidents, infants who have stopped breathing, drug-crazed individuals and attempted suicides. And police officers are expected to come home "normal" after putting in eight hours.
My children say, "God bless Daddy," every time they hear a siren.

Now that voting taxpayers in Chicago are outnumbered the dye is cast. No way buy more taxes and more giveaways. Got to keep the democratic voting base happy. Only hope is that the non-voting taxpayers wake up and say enough is enough but don't hold your breath.
If Rahm and the bosses refuse to send manpower to 017 to keep citizens and police safe, then maybe he will do it for the children...? SHAME!!!

Hey softie, half the front windows in half the homes in Albany Park display “Black Lives Matter” posters. Maybe the dogs on the watch who don’t ever step out of the car have it right after all.

Since gun hater Rahm cannot rid the city of all the guns (legal or not) might it not be prudent to offer marksmanship training, so the yutes can hit their intended target.
