Where the mentally ill wander the streets with dead bodies for company:
- An elderly woman was found pushing a shopping cart with a dead body inside it in the city’s Chatham neighborhood.
Police received a call around 8 p.m. Saturday for a well-being check in the 8600 block of South Calumet Avenue.
When officers arrived, they found the woman pushing a shopping cart that contained the body of a black woman. Police initially said the body was male. Officers described the woman pushing the cart as “elderly” but did not provide her age.
Youi have to love the media describing the dead body better than they do live subjects.

wait a minute come on rahm lets give them work! we could station them in every police district,give them a free CTA pass,a heavy duty shopping cart,identification cards (You know like your doing for the illegals so you can get more votes which is totally illegal but then again the rule of law is a foreign concept to rahm). They could then scoop up the bodies and ride the CTA and then the people could see how well everyone works together to help each other,I know the smell might be bad and the maggots everywhere but that would show how well you manage this once great city!
The only thing that could make Chicago great again, is if the feds literally gut the politicians and make massive sweeping indictments and immediate arrests that would finally stop the "business as usual" component! When I heard it on WLS-AM 890, they reported it as a woman pushing a “buggy” with a dead body inside.
I knew it had to a south side thing.
In all my days the last time I heard the term “buggy” was 1962 in which the ‘baby buggy’ eventually evolved into the stroller.
The CFD also used the term as one of their fleet.
Then there’s joe-shit the ragman who had his ‘buggy’ filled with scrap metal and that of course was a (stolt) shopping cart.
