Wildwood is a forested outpost in Chicago's Forest Glen neighborhood, far north, isolated, full of city workers including many police bosses. We're told it's like being in the suburbs and is actually bordering a few. The school is top rate - except for this:
- Hey SCC, This guy was paid to speak to students on Friday at Wildwood elementary school. A student confirmed his message was the police are racist. A lot of anti police rhetoric on his Facebook and YouTube posts including CPDK and FUCK 12. This [principal] should be held accountable for using school funds to hire this guy. We can’t let the snowflakes bring these assholes into our schools.
And the parents just let this happen? We had no idea the north side was still allowed to keep slaves to the extent that an actual "abolitionist" was required to speak at schools, not to mention advocating/supporting police killers. What the actual fuck?

Sometime in the early 1980s to mid 1980s when I was a detective I was detailed to the Wildwood Grade School on Central just north of Devon. I was assigned there from 600am to 600pm. At that time there were black children enrolled there then. I can also say I saw a lot of parents who were CPD dropping off, and picking up their children. I did not see or hear any racial animosity directed towards the black students.
Parents should be fuming!!!!

As a parent, if you are angered, will do do anything about this speaker? Will you approach the principal and ask why this speaker? Where in the curriculum is there room for guest speakers? What classes are stopped to make room for the speaker? Should the principal provide another speaker to present a opposing view? Or is the faculty supporting anti police message? Is this what you want for your children and community? To despise police? Eventually your community will need police to keep ytour community safe.
