Someone else suggested perhaps an address or flyer with a $5 gift card.
And building on that, someone else suggested a gift card, but only with a remaining dollar or so on the card.

Yes!!! Starbucks is allowing all people access to their stores, including bathrooms, chairs, tables, patio space, even those people who purchase nothing. These left wing goofs are hilarious.
Get the homeless out of the police station lobbies and into a much more comfortable Starbucks lounge.

Warm seat? Lol, the way at least one particular Starbucks in the 1st district, known to be a icky person magnet, is getting around the problem is to remodel and put in only counters for standing patrons, no seats at all. We wholeheartedly encourage all our citizens of lesser means to bring their cardboard and lice infested blankets to a Starbucks near you.

Went into 2 Starbucks while in uniform on details, one in the loop and one near headquarters and was denied washroom a few years back. I wasn't going to buy any of their coffee as I think it tastes terrible. But we just got in the car and found some other places. Is this their policy, I have never been denied elsewhere where I asked before hand?
Let's see how this policy works out for them. A bunch of none paying people hanging out in the business. No thanks!

The Starbucks at Clark/Belmont used to be the 2nd location that was open 24 hours besides North/Wells. Once it became a hangout and nuisance filled with the homeless and Boystown-visiting riffraff, they reduced their hours. Since that didn't completely eliminate the problem, Starbucks recently renovated that location to basically be a carry-out counter with almost no seats.
Hurry, bring in the protesters and scold Starbucks for not being accommodating enough to people that don't actually buy anything!
Starbucks can go fuck themselves. No police officer should arrest anyone in a Starbucks. I hope someone moves into the bathroom at Starbucks and refuses to open the door. It will be hilarious when they start calling police to solve their problems they created. Call the CEO to come out and help.
With the warm weather coming be sure to tell your piss bums about the free ice tea and a/c. Also be sure to give them a wash cloth to clean up a little bit in the nice clean rest room.
It looks like the open-door policy only lasted two days. Liberal ideas and reality seldom mix but are fun to watch while they last. How long will it take for the smell to leave those over priced coffee shops? Even after the smell is gone the stink of liberalism will still be there.

Going downtown today to pass out some of the gift cards we have to help the homeless it’s about time we been together as citizens the homeless people need a place to go and Starbucks is the perfect place for them. They will get social interaction the citizens will get to see their fellow citizens maybe they can help them give them a place to stay as a matter of fact our mayor was just a newspaper saying he’s an empty Nester maybe he could take a couple of people you know and I was extra bedrooms that he has in the house with the wedding dress .
They can wash their socks in the bathroom and then dry them with those high powered, fancy hand dryers!

When someone denies me use of their washroom I cover my mouth as if I am going to throw up and then ask them if they have a mop as i am about to throw up, some how they always let me use the washroom.
I heard on the news on tht radio that "Starbucks is still revising it's policy" maybe they are waking up... Remember they refused the Police from using their bathroom but not anyone else. Don't call us

I stopped patronizing Starbucks 10 years ago. That place is owned and ran by liberal assholes who hate the police and the USA. If you are the police and you patronize that place you are an asshole. A few years ago their store on Diversey just east of Clark was established as some type of charity operation, you were told to pay what you wanted along with homeless people bussing tables. All of the soccer and yoga pants mom customers fled and the store was closed completely within a year or so.

I bought a few going to help out the down trodden, they need a place to relax, get some coffee and develop a social network which will maybe lead to a job! Heck with the bathroom they can even take a shower,and smell better stay long enough wash your clothes then they could hang them on the chairs inside would smell like coffee!

This really solves a problem we have in 018 and 019. Lots of homeless to try and find space for on the cold days. It is great that Starbucks is stepping up to help with this issue.
I did something like this once. Tuscany's gave me a certificate when I found a fried bug in my Tuscany's overpriced salad once. I gave it to the dirtiest bum I could find and told him to have a ball.
I see plenty of signs in restaurants and stores stating "No Loitering". Most businesses also reserve the right to refuse service to people (or folks). This is what happens when the do-gooders and govt. get into bed together. Maybe JB can buy the old Post Office and create a leftist utopia for the homeless and bums. Why, they could create their own little village and make their own rules. After all, it takes a village we were once told.
LOl! SCC, for years I gifted the down and outers on my beat with all the Starbucks gift cards that I had in my possession, and that had remaining balances of $2 - $5+ on them. I would then direct them to visit a particular district store. At this particular Starbucks location my partner and I were given the stink eye on numerous occasions by the manager and several of the baristas. We always paid, and or provided a tip. If we went there more than once in a week it would be a lot. The best we could figure it was because of the monkey suit we were wearing. Needless to say, we could take a hint, and stopped going. Personally, I'm a DD or McD's guy when I have a choice for Joe. I'm curious to see how Howard Schultz's marketing plan to his growing shit-in-the-pants demographic will turn out. Starbucks are hypocrites, locations in high-density areas like downtown Chicago and Manhattan are being 're-modeled' to get rid of the bathrooms and the seating areas.

I remember those nights and mornings, the piss smell in the project stairwells when the elevators where out and you had to walk up to the 12th floor. Now there's going to be that smell of coffee, mixed with the smell of shit and piss for the new police who have to remove a bun stinker, dead or alive. I will never along with my family enter that piss bum place, however sams and Costco sells starbucks cards at a discount,and the downtrodden like a place to sit, get coffee and use the cups to ask for more "donations" this is bliss,as the shares rapidly sink fun to watch! As I sit here with my dunkin donuts coffee,ahh delicious strange Dunkin doesn't have this problem as they favor the law abiding taxpayers,and law and order notice the difference!

I patronized a starbucks once about 15 years ago. The coffee sucked and I never went back, and I intend to continue in the same manner. Dunkin' Donuts has the best coffee. Besides, even if I liked starbucks coffee, I would not now patronize starbucks because of their liberal tendencies and disdain for police officers.
I once put a drunken piss bum in the back seat of, then Sergeant, Cora Sue Roberts's car while she was in the station on some BS. The bum rose up from the backseat like the wolfman as she was driving around the 2nd district a short time later. I'm sure she had to change her depends after that happened.
