Trib Forces "Transparency"

  • A Cook County judge has found that Chicago Mayor Rahm Emanuel and his office violated state law by withholding for nearly a year and a half emails sent and received from his personal accounts that related to city business, including emails about the scandal-plagued red light camera program.

Circuit Judge Kathleen Pantle agreed with the Chicago Tribune that Emanuel and his office violated the state’s open records act by belatedly releasing the emails, handing the newspaper a victory in its ongoing court battle over the mayor’s use of personal devices and accounts to conduct the public’s business.

In addition, the judge opened the door to having Emanuel testify about whether he and his office failed to preserve texts and emails on his personal phones and accounts in violation of another state law relating to the preservation of government records.
Much is suspected of having been deleted and destroyed already. Anyone else wondering what the correspondence between Rahm and the Streetlight Assassin might reveal in the midst of a heated mayoral race?

So Mayor Rhamacide broke the law.
Will he be stripped and sent to Call Back?
We he beg for a second chance, like he advocates for
every other lawbreaker, police officers not included?
Just what will his punishment be?
Can a convicted felon be mayor?
These are questions I would like answers to.

TOO LITTLE TOO LATE! The Fibune and the Scum times should both die a terrible death for the miserable way they let the city down. Not to mention their assistance in destroying liberty and justice for all by their persecution of the police and their negligence in reporting offenses and the offenders.

Everyone here has cellphones and email. Messages don’t delete themselves unless you have your settings as such. Would love to see a subpoena to the carriers to have them go back and get the data. It’s out there.

Welp, there goes the FOIA we sent yesterday for the—as it was put to us—"very very informal" parking lot logs. That shit's now been taken home, cut with scissors, shat upon, and flushed.

Gee doesn't this sound like what Hillary did, using her own private email server when she could have used the government provided free email. Why would someone do something like that? You know why.

He only deleted emails about his yoga classes and his daughters upcoming wedding. At this point what difference does it make?

You think in contract arbitration the City hands over all documents?

How about if the City is trying to fire you?

If the Tribune really wanted to make Rahm uncomfortable, tney would have run the Saturaday night wilding in front of Water Tower several days in a row and not stopped until they got a comment from the mayor.

Well whatta ya know. Like 'another certain democrat,' Tiny Dancer ignores the laws and deletes records pertaining to Public Business, all in an attempt to sidestep FOIA Requests, and hide from taxpayers what he's secretly been up to.

I'm surprised that Flaming Tutu didn't argue that the emails & texts were only about Recipes, Yoga Classes, and Chelsea Clinton's wedding. Rotflmao!

an aside: Maybe this is where Hillary got the idea of using a private server and deleting her emails in spite of the Laws and a Subpoena for her records from Congress. After all Tiny Dancer worked for Clinton back in '92. (It's also when and where he came up with the phrase; 'Never let a good crisis go to waste'.)

ps: As far as Democrats are concerned, Laws and Regulations are merely suggestions.

It's all in the Cloud. All of the information is available through NSA and the texts/e-mails will be shown by Trump to Rahm in order for Rahm to change his tune and start to support the police.

It is total insanity watching how the Chicago Sun-Times is going under rapidly is the Tribune possibly changing their tune? Maybe the Tribune is realizing the failure of the suntimes newspaper is the direct result of following the Democratic mantra of hating the police and supporting the criminals

Well ya’kno my server was at capacity, yada-yada-yada, one year someone used a BleachBit or maybe like a rag, to clean up the files.

What will the remaining emails reveal?
Thousands of pages of trivial correspondence, ballet, bar mitzvahs and weekends in wine country.

Dump Rahm2019.

The Tribune has learned nothing from the Sun Times imminent demise. The Tribune is nothing more than that rag the Washington Post. Check out how many articles are actually written by Post commentators and reporters. Not the Trib of our fathers.

Warren Buffet has said that out of all of the national newspapers in existence today, only three, including the disgusting New York Post, will survive.

I like the Sun Times calling out CPD for protesting, and attacking the Trib strikers for protesting as well.

All of these are encouraging signs that warms the cockles of my heart.
The deaths of the Chicago Sun Times and the Chicago Tribune can not come soon enough.
