Bad Week Gets Worse
After numerous officers were shot across the country, seven cops were shot in South Carolina:
- The man who allegedly opened fire on law enforcement officers in a residential neighborhood in South Carolina on Wednesday, killing one and injuring several others, is a disbarred lawyer, records from the Supreme Court of South Carolina show.
A source with the Florence County Sheriff's Office told ABC News on Thursday that the detained suspect is Fred Hopkins, who was at the home where the shooting happened in Vintage Place, an upscale suburban neighborhood in the city of Florence, about 80 miles east of Columbia.
Hopkins allegedly began shooting at Florence County deputies when they showed up to serve a search warrant for another individual at the residence Wednesday. There were four foster children inside the home at the time of the incident, the source told ABC News.

Terrence Carraway, shot and killed by the offender was an integral part of that line.
His life was taken while defending it along with another half dozen brave members who were also wounded. The Thin Blue Line lives on as the brave members of law enforcement continue to serve and protect despite the odds and the enemy.

Why are illegal alien children being housed on military bases instead of homeless veterans?
42 officers shot and killed in the line of duty this year. One a week. Anyone who does not think the police haters and press have something to do with this are oblivious.
Shot at 7 cops, killed one, but taken alive? Interesting. I thought if you, never mind.
Got to say this looks like bad intel and bad planning.
Why would you bring so many officers to toss a house unless you knew there would be trouble.
And this was not even the guy they were after?
