Mt. Greenwood Shooting
Even the suburban cops come to Chicago to do their shootings - and get the same treatment from the media:
- A police officer from Alsip shot a motorist who hit two squad cars after being followed from the south suburb to the Far South Side of Chicago early Wednesday, officials said.
Both Alsip and Chicago police were releasing few details of the shooting, which happened around 2:10 a.m. in the 4000 block of West 115th Street in the Mount Greenwood neighborhood.
The 25-year-old motorist was taken to Advocate Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn in serious condition with gunshot wounds to his shoulder, Chicago police said.
He wasn't a "motorist" when he started bashing squad cars with a 3,000 pound guided missile. He was an assailant, and assailants, using deadly weapons, get shot. At least they usually do. Nice job by the suburban police.
Special Ed immediately stripped the Alsip police officer and demanded his vehicle be impounded.

I'm sure a resident or guest from the Apts next to Marist. If Obama had a son he would live there.
the motorist ended up at the big section 8 complex next to marist high school. it was high lighted before on scc maps as having crime and voting patterns out of contexts with the rest of mt greenwood. coincidence?
The media reports initially were great. “Motorist shot.” “Police shoot suspected drag racer.” My favorite story so far. “Two tactical officer’s in an unmarked squad rammed a black Cadillac.” If only the media would’ve waited for the actual department press release that said what really happened and how the POS tried to run over two cops. Source, was there.
Right now fat head ed has more questions than answers.

Back in the late 1970's, there was a 003rd District Captain who divided his time between those apartments (his city address) and his home in Hinsdale (his real address). Never got caught.
I guess the guys who destroyed the World Trade Center weren't terrorists, they were air passengers.
The officer is going to be in a world of hurt and should know better.
He is going to get sued. We all know that. He will go to this department and look for representation. The department will say that he was not acting in his capacity of a city police officer, but as a private citizen.
He will be footing the bill for his lawyer.
The police should discourage intervention by non-CPD. These hero citizens get their name in the paper, and then are left to foot the legal bills on their own.
That boy were just out doing a little campaigning and community organizing and those police was harassing him for no reason before he was scared and ran away, he didn’t have no car or no nothing. I seent the whole thing.
The theory of confrontations is that the feral urchin(s) will think twice before ever messing with Alsip PD again.
Oh wait, it’s still Restorative Juiced CrookCounty - house visits, apologies, and settlemints are forthcoming, maybe some jello pudding pops too.
I don't think Tank Head Ed can strip someone from another department. If I was the Burb Officer, I'd tell Eddie Boy to blow me.

More like he'd own the land the complex was on. Hate him all you want his immediate family is 3/3 in the ivies (4/4 if you include his brother in law, 5/5 if you include his immigrant father) and neither him or his wife come from anywhere or anything. Call it whatever you want but that in itself is the definition of self made w/o a handout i.e. the "American Dream."
The amount of misinformation is laughable. 1017hrs... why would the Officer need ANY representation from the city? Pretty sure his own department is covering him and pretty sure he was on duty at the time and NOT acting as as a private citizen while driving his squad car. Will he get sued or attempt to get sued, sure. Thats going to happen. He isn’t screwed by any means.
Get umbrella insurance.... you may need it one day.
