Candidate Ranking

We haven't seen much in the way of polling data. It's almost like the media doesn't want anyone to form an actual opinion about the mayoral candidates, but rather be influenced by coverage - and a poll could endanger the supposed front runners:
  • Every week during the baseball season, ESPN publishes its power rankings of all 30 teams in the MLB. In Chicago, nearly half that many people are running for mayor, so we thought we’d do the same for them.

Our fourth iteration raises a big question: Is Chicago heading for another Mayor Daley?

Bill Daley, who has until now been a mere prince in Chicago’s royal family, may soon wear the same crown as his father and brother. Bill has raised $6 million, far more than any other candidate, and a recent poll showed him beating Toni Preckwinkle in a runoff.

For those reasons, along with the fact that Daleys are really, really good at winning elections in this city, we’ve placed Bill at No. 1 in this edition of the Mayoral Power Rankings. If you’re not ready for Daley the Third, get out and vote.
In case you were wondering, the top four right now are:
  1. Daley
  2. Prickwrinkle
  3. Chico
  4. Mendoza
All connected to Ed Burke and therefore, all Machine hacks. No one has topped 17%, so a runoff is a foregone conclusion at this point.

So EVERYONE and their family get behind a different candidate and change the outcome.

Vote for Joyce or Willie Wilson.

At least that would put a scare into the ones who think they should automatically be crowned the next King (or Queen).

But that won't happen. Too many are used to being in a Clout-driven job - Police, Fire, Teachers - so the usual suspects will rise to the top - from the absolute bottom.

It's your own faults. If FOP said - "get behind this candidate" - maybe the outcome would change but - too many are beholden to the names (and machine) you listed.

This tells me most of you do not want change and are afraid to take a real stand. Talk is cheap - especially in Clout City. Stop complaining and keep buying those tables of tickets to "insure your job".

If your ranking is accurate then the best one to go with is Daley.

WHY?

Because Daley will manage and make sure everyone gets a piece of the pie. The others?? No way. The pie is only for their "group".

Not endorsing Daley- but the analysis of how the pie will get divided is spot-on.

Why even vote, the fix is in. Bad weather, nothing will change. The other politicians are bought and paid for. When you can get elected as alderfool, stand pat for 20 year, part time gig, then get 80% pension for life, why start trouble and potentially lose a election? Daley the 2nd knew what he was doing or the masters behind him did anyway. Read the book Boss, the blueprint was right there. Nothing will change but there will be a massive increase in violence. The Tribune on Sun 3 Feb 19 ran an article: "What ethics reforms are mayoral canidates pushing?"
One of Daley's proposals was, "Ban family members of aldermen from doing business with the city."
Need we remind him that his family member and a nephew, Robert Vanecko, got 68 million dollars from
the City's pension funds to invest and blew the whole wad on bad investments except he and his partner
got a 9 million fee for their ineptness. None of this money is ever coming back and nothing is happening
to all that were involved. What is Bill's position on this? Should the family start raising money to pay these
funds back as they are great fund raisers. And Bill don't use the excuse your lying brother Richie used
saying you had no idea what Robert and his partner were doing.
All the candidates for Mayor addressed all kinds of wonderous reforms for Alderman but it means nothing
as the Alderman would have to vote on it not the Mayor just declaring it. What a bunch of BS!

Will this Daley let his nephew loot the pension fund like the last one did? Remember, of that $6 Million raised by Daley, there is a $25,000 donation from the nephew who lost several million dollars of our pension fund. Then there is the Constitutional Amendment to our pension, that Daley is willing to pursue. How much of a hit are pensioners supposed to take, after Rahm screwed us on healthcare? What happened to Vallas? I got a phone poll the other day, and they did not even include Vallas! Is Vallas out of the race already? Is there any candidate looking out for City Employees? Stay Safe. Quick review, Daley wants constitutional change to get City out of pension mess. Daley nephew loses 54 million of pension money-balks at payback but keeps 9 million for himself. Nephew gives Daley $25K campaign donations. All Daleys win-Everyone else loses.

Just give that a little thought when you consider your choices. As a candidate for mayor, he'd be equivalent to a "merit selection", however legitimate you consider that.

Let's say, hypo theo critalically, that SCC would post an article, listing all the candidates for mayor.

And request/offer the opportunity, for all comment submissions to be only the name of the candidate the commenter recommends.

NO comment indicating havng already voted for will be posted.

NO comment with anything other than the recommended candidate name will be posted.

Only the name. One name. Per comment.

About as accurate a poll as the fake news mutts present as gospel.

Set time limit and present totals. This article being assured of voluminous comments galore.

Like a fop meeting, but exactly the opposite.

If the result is interesting, then do alderman contests.

Public forum, free speech, voluteer participants, absence of fucking pandering polling phone call shitheads, actual value in each expressed recommendation via candidate name ONLY, follow up results article for the expressions of the why on each recommended candidate, the American way.

Then, when the election results are tabulated, the pissings, moanings, and such can resume.

Or, maybe, just maybe, a hint of MAGA????

Jerry Joyce is the only pro police candidate outside pandering McCarthy. He has stated he is against going after Vandyke for a longer sentence. Joyce and Wilson are the only candidates who have run successful businesses in the private sector and do not need to run for mayor to be relevant in their communities. Mendoza and Preckwinks are locked in competition for who is the most progressive, they will further destroy the police department. Daley is only on the radar because his family still owns the press, his presence in the election only proved there is more meat on the bone to steal or give away to his friends and later claim he is feeble to remember details. Jerry Joyce has consistently stated his support for police and is the only candidate who has done so. Im voting for Joyce, he is not a lifetime politician and doesn't owe any favors. From Jerry Joyce

Dear City Workers. Present and Past CWPP

I was honored to receive the endorsement of Chuck Frangello from City Workers Present and Past. I am not active on Facebook but after speaking with Chuck, I read all of the comments on this site. The outpouring of support from so many other members of City Workers Present and Past mean so much to me personally, but more importantly, it’s the right bump at the right time to propel us through the pack and into the runoff.

I know that many of you are voting for your pension. As I said at the Sun-Times editorial board, “Retirees held up their end of the bargain…To change the Constitution and take away that (pension) benefit from them is not only unjust, it is morally reprehensible.” This has been my position before this campaign started and it has been my position throughout the campaign. I have stated this publicly on numerous occasions and I will not waiver on this as mayor.

I am ready to work for the people of this city that make this city work. I am committed to finding new sources of revenue, tackling violent crime and fighting for all the people of this city.

Early voting by ward starts today and election day is two weeks from Tuesday on February 26th.

These next two weeks are pivotal. Please put your words of support into action. Reach out to everyone you know, put up signs, volunteer, and let’s get out the vote.

Thank you for your support.

Jerry Joyce

Not being naive but what can they do if they open up the Illinois constitution in 2020 regarding pensions. Can they simply change the rules and say 50% max after 29+1 and no colas? Even for guys with 20 plus. Trust me I don’t doubt these politicians from doing anything. Can they simply say no more pensions and transfer our funds to a 401k?

Why isn’t the FOP asking each of the top five candidates anyways. What’s there pension plan? What would they change if they opened the Illinois constitution in 2020? Get is the information we need to vote properly.

Civilian here.

On September 4, 2018, when Rahm announced he was not running, here were the announced candidates......Vallas, Wilson, McCarthy, Lightfoot, Joyce, Kozlar, and Enyia. At that time, Rahm was asked who did he think would be mayor. He responded that he didn't think the person was running yet.

Bill Daley announced his run on September 14th, followed by Chico, Mendoza (she was still running for Comptroller, remember), Preckwinkle, and Fioretti. Now the top 4 are Daley, Preckwinkle, Chico, and Mendoza.

Gee, I wonder what Rahm knew that the rest of us didn't?

P.S. Ken Griffin just gave another $1 million to Daley's campaign it was announced today. That's called smart money. Welcome folks to another Mayor Daley!

At this point it doesnt matter who wins. The city is screwed anyway you look at it. They all have hidden agendas, and none have come out and completely supported the police (due to thier pandering). This is sickening to see. The mayoral forums on FOX last week revealed just how unpolished many of the candidates are (Lightfoot shaking in anger when challenged, typical Daley mumbling and stuttering, McCarthy, well you all know this goof. They all talk about getting rid of corruption but they dont say how they will do it.
I retired 3 yrs ago and within months moved to the NW Burbs of Chicago. I pay more in taxes but no city sticker and insurance on home, car and motorcyle all dropped significantly so it is almost a wash. Only problem is Im still in Crook County a block out of Dupage . It is refreshing to see the Dupage Co state attorney charge a man for pointing a toy gun at a Naperville Officer last week with a felony and then the judge set a new $100,000 bond. The people out here get it and dont want the crap that goes on in the city.
If Prickwinkle, Lightfoot, Mendoza get in the entire region or should I say entire state((Gov, Attorney General, Mayor of states largest city) will be controlled by the Machine. We are so screwed

Jeezus H, I hate to say it, but IMHO Bill Daley is the only one of the group who wouldn't burn the city down, figuratively speaking of course.

Toni Taxwinkle is a rabid neo-communist 'progressive'. There's no doubt that she detests the entire Police Department and that alone would make the city completely unlivable.

The only other candidate worth a damn out of the rest of the flotsam is, IMHO, Gery Chico. He's actually from Chicago, grew up in McKinley Park, and Gery went to good old Kelly High School -- class of 66, me not him ;-), and his mother was half Lithuanian. Gery deserves some votes just for all of that.

OH.. and Gery Chico is 100% 'Pro-Dibs'. That's a Chicago Value everyone should be proud of. ;-)

Vallas is the only one of the bunch who has the balls to publicly support police by wearing a Chicago Police Memorial Foundation pin in public. That says something to me. He pissed me off when he talked shit after the Van Dyke sentencing, but they all did to pander. They have to, they're politicians, it's in their DNA.

What if they threw some polls and people decided NOT to vote for Democrats at all AND they told all their friends they were done voting for democrats too? I'm not saying to say which other candidate they support, but just that they won't vote for the (D) anymore.

This will cause media to pander bigtime and expose who they want people to vote for. Then ya pounce on them for it as people figure out the game is RIGGED.

Dr. Willie Wilson speaks the truth.

2/13/2019 12:17:00 AM

Doctor? Remember there are people that had to actually spend years in school to get a Doctorate. Do a thesis and such things. Some ego to use that title when given an honorary degree by a school he gave money to. Oh ya he knows a lot, suggesting they open smaller schools in the areas where the 50 schools were closed. How does that make sense, how much will that cost? Oh and for his summation he simply said a prayer. Why not use that time to state his plans if he really has any. He's a joke. If not been handed a McDonald's franchise he would still be saying can I take your order. He wouldn't get any time or attention at all if not handing out money and a minority. If white he'd be labeled the eccentric religious guy that keeps running for mayor. Wilson would not be a mayor for all the people either, he clearly has his agenda. And he's a hypocrite, you don't see him moving his business and residence down to Englewood but goes on and on about more economic development in the west and south sides. Do as I say not as I do. Anyone that votes for Wilson is a damn fool.

Joyce has no chance of winning either. He does have money and perhaps will help play spoiler to Vallas. Vallas is not perfect but much smarter and a better choice than the rest. In the end a machine candidate will likely win but wasting votes on Joyce or a numbskull like Wilson, you might as well stay home.

Lets see, the Trip runs an article about Daley's cheating on the insurance license exam, then they turn around and endorse him. On the same day we learn the states wealthiest billionaire gives him a million dollar campaign donation. The Tribune cites Daley's experience as Commerce Secretary under Clinton and Chief of Staff under Barry. So one president is an unregistered sex offender and the other weaponized the IRS, FBI and Justice Department in order to stop/impeach/etc Trump. Daley's accomplishment?
NAFTA. In his commercials, he says as Chief of Staff, he fought for more police and first responders. Anyone here remember hearing about that fight, what was said, when, and the outcome. I don't. But given that most of his campaign contributors are financial and hedge fund big wigs, its hard to imagine these people giving a rats ass about anything south of Roosevelt or West of Ashland. The non stop barrage of commercials takes advantage of the gullibility of Chicago voters. He figures everyone is too stupid to figure this out for themself.
On the pension mess, he wants to change the constitution. The city takes a pension holiday for 20 years and feed the media the notion that the employees are the greedy ones. If you told someone from another state about this graft and scam they'd think you were writing a movie screenplay about gypsies. Vote for someone, anyone, but think about what you've kicked in to your retirement, and how much of it might still be there when you pull the plug.

Illinois lawmakers flock to oppose retirement tax after proposal from business leaders

Some Illinois lawmakers want to get out in front of a civic group's proposal to tax retirement income

The Civic Committee of the Commercial Club of Chicago recently proposed a plan to pay down Illinois’ underfunded pension debt and balance the budget through a number of tax hikes and revenue grabs that included classifying retirement and pension payouts as regular income. Illinois doesn't tax retirement income.

State Rep. David McSweeney, R-Barrington Hills, filed House Resolution 32 in attempt to forestall any bill that would tax such income. The bill, filed in January, says “we state our belief that the Illinois Income Tax Act should not be amended to permit taxing retirement income."

Since the suggestion was made to tax retirement income, McSweeney's measure has picked up sponsors Sam Yingling, Jonathan Carroll and Jerry Costello II, all Democrats, along with Plainfield Republican Mark Batinick.

“One of the few tax benefits we have in Illinois is protection for retirement income,” McSweeney said in a statement. “We do not need to hold retirees accountable for the out-of-control spending that has put our state’s financial future at risk. I will continue to fight to protect Illinois senior citizens. Instead of raising taxes, we need to cut unnecessary spending as well as reform pensions and Medicaid."

Bob Gallo, state director for AARP Illinois, said older Illinoisans already pay their fair share of taxes.

“Illinois’ older residents also contribute to the state’s economy to the tune of $358.8 billion, or 46 percent of Illinois’ GDP, despite only making up 34 percent of the state’s population,” he said. “Illinois would be smart to consider maintaining and adopting programs and policies that keep this important economic engine in our state, rather than considering policies that drive retirees, and their contributions to our state’s economy and workforce, elsewhere.”

House Resolution 32 is waiting to be assigned to a House committee.

Now a new rail station has been approved at 15th street just for the young urban assholes or the executives to have their party pad in the city when they work late or need a phony address for their kids to attend Whitney Young or Walter Payton. The system has the public working against the cops and vice versa. Why else would cops arrest the same assholes 4, 5 times only to have the cases kicked due to lax drug testing? Electronic monitoring is not working so the citizens who work and stay out of trouble, if they do not live in the right area they are targets. Daley is here to pick the bones. Period.

Rahm's ridiculous revamping of the CTA Blue Line/CTA hub in Jeff Park is a complete disaster. Why on Earth would a massive outdoor project be started in late Fall and be ongoing until Spring? Obviously no one works there in the dead of Winter! Plus, the Blue Line is a total mess! Nothing but homeless sprawled out on the train seats smoking and smelling up the cars. It's a health hazard!

And Rahm stating that the train track alterations (which caused riders to have to ride extra long distances out of their way for months during the supposed track installations) would make travel times decrease by ten minutes actually now makes travel times worse! I contact the CTA an just got a bullshit standard letter.

Thank goodness for our Wonderful Police who are doing the best they can to keep the Titanic from sinking!

The old-timer seems well sorted, but did YOU
do YOUR due diligence?

Zealously guard and judiciously exercise YOUR vote.

As far as voting for any particular person
and in many things in life?

Every man for himself, according to HIS conscience
and that which he thinks may allow him to stand
in hope of favorable judgement.

Voting as in living life itself, what you do
(or not) can (or may not) have consequences.

Just an idle thought...

i cant believe it comes down to another daley. i thought we were done with those theives. i worked for that stroke for 20 years, a little bi polar napolean. i was always waiting for that vein in his forehead to explode when anyone dared challenge him. the press was terrified of him and he turned up the clout meter 1000%. the muni pension fund in 97 was like 96% funded. by 2017 it was like 18%. everyone paid in every 2 weeks except, you guessed, daley. they pay out way more than they take in and have 4 years of money left. 4 years. now the daleys are back to fix it by cutting our pensions and the best is taxing our pensions to pay our pensions. wheres the transparency and accountability they say their enemies like the police should have? oh thats right we cant look to the past we have to go forward boldly. something these bastards have always been good at is stacking the deck so the other candidates are non starters. and you thought don corleone was smart. btw the don always had people in the media on the payroll. in a run off you would probably have to vote for daley as the others are such disgusting commies and racialists. they must have a very high opinion of the voters, look rich, we fuck em every day at our three card monty table and they come back every payday! boy are these voters stupid richie! we gave all their pension money to our contributors and now they elected me to come back and change the rules and make it all legal. he he he, silly voters. rich daley should be in a federal pen with a sentance of three lifetimes for diverting billions in tax money and not doing his duties as mayor. and dumbfuck mumbles couldnt pass the bar either, dad had to fix that like bills insurance lic test. but we will vote and he will win cuz thats what we do. chicago, the worlds largest insane asylem. Ya know, the reason for this yearning to tax the fuck out of those earning?

Ya know, the fucking cause of ever increasing taxes, fees, dunnings, and public debt?

How about that, jerry?

No, not about state constitutionally protected worthy city pensions.

No, not about neccessary employees earning, by the natures of their public safety, health and services providing taxpayers with actual value for their taxes paid.

No, not about the actually needed city employees.

How about decreasing the moochers?

How about decreasing the grafters? The shakedown cunts? The fucking bums?

How about decreasing the fucking quantity of scum alderman grafters, shakedown cunts and scammers?

How about that, jerry?

This fucking town is tribal.

Alliances are the key.

More elegant commenters can post the breakdown.

Being a shill candidate is not the honest way. Neither is taking a shot at the golden goose. Neither is pretending that tribal is not the key. Neither is playing this as a game, with your reward for being that shill to be paid later.

Their goal is a one on one between the moochers cabal and the grafters cabal.

They are both cabals. Cabals are not tribal.

Tribal is the key.

By culture, by ethnicity, by common earned economics, by common desire to NOT be grafted upon, mooched off of, shakedown pissed on, dictated to, and taxed to the "fuck this city" levels that both the two cabals do so greedily.

Allances are the key.

Not much time left to do the right thing here, jerry. Not much time left to not be the shill. Not much time left to turn the key of tribal alliances and have a shot at knocking one or both of the cabal bitches out in the first round.

If you are truly not their bitch.

Bill Daley received another million dollars for his campaign yesterday from Ken Griffin, the richest guy in Illinois. The majority of the 6 million plus given to Daley to run those inane commercials in which he claims to start doing something for the neighborhoods beyond the west loop and north side, you know, the ones where he says "this is our moment".

Do you think the financiers, and hedge fund guys are interested in neighborhood development? If someone gave you a million dollars to run for mayor, do you think you'd be more responsive to him or the guy who's been trying to get the pothole in front of his house filled?

Ed Vyrdoliak once said about the Daleys "Everything is for them, everyone else is a Polock" Richie played dumb when it came to his nephew raiding the pension funds for 68 million. Who gave the nephew the contact information on the pension boards. Who on the pension boards pushed to have the loan ok'd? The mayor has 2 cabinet members that sit on each of the city's 4 pensions. Yet Daley said reading about it in the paper was the first he heard about it.

The nephew stiffed the pension boards on paying back 54 million yet kept 9 million for his inept management of the failed projects. Don't you wish you could fuck up big time and still be rewarded? And of course the nephew gave Bill Daley a 25K campaign donation. In effect, gave Daley your money.

Now comes news that Bill Daley jr. was a lobbyist for Morgan Stanley which lobbied for the parking meter deal, leasing the meters for 99 years for 1.5 billion when more accurate estimates put the value at around 10 billion. All of us should be taking a page from the Daley playbook in that "we don't know nothing and this is the first we're hearing of it"

The Tribune endorsed Daley yesterday, 3 days after running a lengthy article about his cheating on the state insurance brokers license exam. They tout his experience as Clinton's Secretary of Commerce. His accomplishments while working for the unregistered sex offender in chief? NAFTA.

Then he and Rahm played musical chairs for Obama, who weaponized the countries intelligence agencies and the IRS for political purposes. No accomplishment there that I could see.

After former Tribune owner Sam Zell sold his interest in the Tribune, the company began to divest itself of its many holdings. Apparently, the Chicago Tribune was one of the assets for sale and has now been bought. Vote for whoever you want, but take a good look at someone who avoids facing the music, or being seen with other candidates in forums because some of them, according to him, would go to a door opening. According to him, he'd rather be seen with "normal" people. So obviously he places himself above anyone else he sees as competition.

Going back to our pensions, the Daleys have demonstrated that its ok to take your money, but screw you when it comes to paying it back. Most of us have contributed 9% of our earnings into the pension for 20 or 30 years or more. Its easier for Daley to suggest we're greedy employees for expecting your contributions to be there for you when you retire, than to ensure that the city pay back what they failed to put in for more that 20 years. Don't you wish you could do that with your mortgage or other financial obligations?

We're in for some tough times in the next 4 years. Don't let some financial slight of hand by a hedge fund guy have you choosing between cat food and health care in your retirement.

Vallas is a decent second choice, but to run on your time at CPS when that was over 25 years ago and the fact you almost beat Blago 20 years ago, that’s not saying much. Not a cop. I think I am going to vote for Daley. I certainly do not agree with all of his policy positions, but then again I am not in 100% agreement with any of the candidates.

I know my position will not be popular with those who oppose Daley, because Daley is in favor of amending the constitution to allow for pension reform. News flash folks, unless the constitution is amended to so provide, Chicago & Illinois are doomed. Expressway to insolvency and the bankruptcy court. Politicians may lie but numbers don't. So you can either have part of something or 100% of nothing. That's your choice.

Further, Daley is the only one with more campaign cash than Preckfucker as well as the smarts to know how to spend it to actually get elected.

The ultimate goal here is not so much that Daley gets elected but that Toe-nay does *not* elected.

In a purely defensive move against the communists and haters running,
I will be voting for Bill Daley.
Yes, I will feel sick the next morning.
Yes, I will be filled with regret.
But I feel it is in my best interest to stand maybe one last time against the RED MENACE.
God help us all.

Do us all a favor and stay home election day. Voting for Daley IS NOT the answer.

Daley was head of midwest intergovernmental relations for JP Morgan and JP Morgan openly found a way to invest in the deal. JP Morgan got a piece of the action in the parking meter deal. That money came from the pensions! Any of you who vote for this scumbag are retarded. Mark my words...Joyce and McCarthy are in cahoots with Daley because they are terrified of Vallas. Vallas wins, Daley loses those city contracts m, the ones that have been fucking all of us. Joyce and McCarthy will be hooked up if Vallas doesn’t win...mark my words

Hahaha, ok enjoy Toni. And tell Jerry or whatever relative you know of his we all said hi. Maybe he’ll make Pickle superintendent and maybe you’ll get a promotion?

2/14/2019 05:20:00 AM

Haha, okay, enjoy Toni. That's good. Haha, enjoy Paul. The man has a fork in his tongue and he can't get it out. Haha.

Say, we know who you are. You're that guy who is friends with Pickle, but is rah rah rooting and unabashedly pushing for Vallas on every social media platform imaginable. Think people don't see you on Twitter, Facebook and City Data Chicago? Too lazy to even come up with your own thoughts on certain other candidates, so you cut and paste them from here and put them up as your own elsewhere?

Joyce is surging and there is a reason. Ignorant fools like you have turned people off.

Keep spreading your bukkshit about Joyce. You have no idea what you’re talking about. Daley called Joyce and told him to get out of the race. When asked why he wanted in, he said “it’d be cool.”

Sorry Vallas is sagging. Sorry you need to throw stones

A lot of dumb, ignorant comments on here. Next week, Daley is going to be smearing Vallas on tv ads until the election. I’ll bet Everything that Daley won’t touch Joyce and McCarthy. What do you think that says? A lot of fuckin snowflakes on here too

Paul Vallas is a lying lefty anti-gun scumbag. He may look or sound better than the other candidates to some of you, but he's just another Government Issue swine.

@2:19. “It’d be cool.” You’re a moron who refuses to look through the bullshit. I do know what I’m talking about. Go read Joyce’s police department and property tax ideas. Don’t you find it strange how it’s the same fuckin thing as what vallas has on his page, which has been out since February of 2018. We’re never going to get 100%, unconditional support from any candidate. That goes for everybody, Joyce, Vallas, Wilson, Firoetti etc. Even if Joyce won the North and south sides, he still wouldn’t come close. Therefore, who has the most knowledge and who has the better chance. We cannot have another machine in office. They will continue to fuck us and we will get closer and closer to losing our pensions. “Joyce is surging...”. Yea, in Mt Greenwood and Beverly, that’s maybe 1.5% if everybody votes. Dumbass

Quick review, Daley wants constitutional change to get City out of pension mess.
Daley nephew loses 54 million of pension money-balks at payback but keeps 9 million for himself.
Nephew gives Daley $25K campaign donations.
All Daleys win-Everyone else loses.

Its like Vrydoliak used to say about the Daleys, "everything is for them, everyone else is a Polock"

The Greeks don't want no Freaks. I'd bet Vallas can spot the Trojan Horses in Chicago. He got my vote.

Here's a funny quote from former superintendent and current mayoral candidate Garry McCarthy talking about the large percentage of undecided voters. , "“They’re up for grabs for the rest of us,” McCarthy said. “My advantage is my legitimacy: I’m a police officer, I’m not corrupt and I have a strong base.

Somebody pinch me, he didn't really say this did he?
