When the lotto winner came home after the party was over he became unhinged because people were sleeping in the wrong beds. He shot his girlfriend and son and they almost died. After he hit the Cook County Jail, his attorney petitioned the court for an I-bond because he didn't have any money to post on a bond that should have been easily made for a millionaire. Just because you give some free money to someone does not turn them into a fiscally responsible self sufficient adult.

These bridges weren't slated for inspection for another year. Little to no routine bridge maintenance and repair occurs here as a matter of standard-practice, likely because it doesn't generate constituency votes.
And, by the way, O'Hare Airport looks like a third-world arrival-destination. Landed at Terminal 5 last week, herded on to a dirty bus, old ladies struggling with their roll-on suitcases (no help from slacker airport employees), CTA employee arguing with fare-jumper (who's outraged that she's been caught, "feels disrespected"), filthy CTA train and stations, etc. Welcome to Chicago, 3rd-world city, murder capital, former home of Al Capone, bastion of corruption, crime, and incivility.

Some investigative reporter should look into how United Way funds were distributed to Obamacare navigators in the “community.” Say the good Reverend or Program Director is given a $35 grand salary to pay each navigator, but hires someone for $20 grand a year, pockets the rest and nobody is the wiser...
There should be audits at every single “Church” or “Program” where that Federal money landed.

Not complaining, but supplemental and Medicare is not always that cheap. Been retired 12 years, wife and I each pay $292 a month for theFOP Aetna plan and $302 each for Medicare $1200 a month for healthcare
