"I Don't Recall" Times 100

Entertainment is where you find it, and we found some in a Madigan deposition:
  • In House Speaker Michael Madigan’s 13th Ward operation, secrecy is expected and loyalty is rewarded.

Now those political vows are being put to the test in a civil courtroom, even as the speaker deals with his name surfacing on a recorded conversation as part of a federal City Hall corruption probe.

Attorneys for a vanquished opponent have placed the powerful Southwest Side Democrat and his operatives under oath in recent months as part of a civil lawsuit alleging one of Chicago politics’ oldest and most effective tricks: putting sham candidates on the ballot to siphon away votes from a more formidable foe.

The Tribune obtained never-before-seen depositions in the case that establish ties between Madigan’s organization and two other candidates in a 2016 Illinois House contest. But the depositions also show the speaker and his aides proved adept at providing short, clipped answers that do little to reveal motive or method.

Take Madigan himself. The 76-year-old speaker used the phrases “I don’t recall,” “I don’t remember,” “I don’t know” and “I have no memory” more than 100 times during a five-hour deposition that he said was the first he’d ever given.
Perhaps Mike is getting senile and ought to think about stepping aside.

How can he keep his law license? Sounds like he is incompetent to maintain his required professional insurance. Isn’t it called “fedheimers”. The same thing that “Dirty little Richie” Daley had during the Kochman depositions and other law suits?

Maybe some of this is on the wire. Zalewski cuts deal with burke and Madigan to agree to remap his ward in order to give burke and Quinn more of the west end of 008 which means more white votes. In return zalewski gets his son in law who cant even spell sergeant without looking at his star made merit. It looked even more bogus since he was put in by a civilian who he never even worked for. But hey it's all legit.

Ritche Daley used the same "I don't recall" routine in depositions for the Millennium Park Restaurant investigation and got away with it. Amazing that these attorneys can't remember anything but are trained in law school to remember everything that witnesses say on the stand or in depositions so they can dispute testimony or cross exam the witness to find inaccuracies.

The 19 yr. old kid from DePaul running for alderman has also filed a federal lawsuit against Madigan's Machine. The reality is that these Political Hacks are used to being untouchable, above the law, because there are few attorneys who would even dare to challenge them! While Loevy & Loevy will take any complaint against a cop, what law firm would dare to challenge the father of the Attorney General, who has been the longest serving State House Speaker, in the history of the United States, not just Illinois! What law firm would appear before a Cook County judge to challenge or sue Burke; knowing that Burke was in charge of the panel that slated candidates to run as judges in Cook County? Memory loss is common among Democrat Party Politicians. Has anyone forgotten the number of times Hillary Clinton said, "I do not recall", when questioned about her misdeeds. Life is all about Change, and the simple fact that someone is even challenging these corrupt politicians, is an indication of their weakness and reduced power. It will be interesting to see if their careers end by retirement, or incarceration! Stay Strong! Baby "G"

As I DO recall, the Clintons have also used this tactic in pretty much every deposition, legal proceeding, testimony before Congress and even televised interview in the almost 30 years since they hit the national stage. I used to say they must have dementia or Alzheimers because clearly the can’t remember a thing.

Most recently, James Comey, the FBI homey in charge of the premier law enforcement agency, testified to Congress under oath. He was joined at the hip with the old bag Hillary Clinton's presidential election. As the highest ranking F.B.I., agent, his testimony under oath with a penalty of perjury included:

"I DONT KNOW"- 166 times

"I DONT REMEMBER"- 71 times

"I DONT RECALL"- 8 times

Total = 245 counts of selective amnesia under oath by Comey!

Most be a contagious democrat pathogen circumventing the legal process which has infected Hillary, Madigan and Comey. But Comey's memory improved and his cerebral condition improved when he wrote a book praising Hillary Clinton:

"A Higher Loyalty to Hillary: Fake Truth Complete with Lies Devoid of Leadership"

Yo, "Weekend at Bernie's"
"Completely cancer free" is a phrase no respectable
oncologist would ever say to a patient, because cancer
can hide in so many places, and has so many pre-phases.
Certainly the oncologist would never say it to another physician.
I get what you're saying. Maybe she's really dead, but I doubt it.
I think RBG is worried about the Government's "fit for duty" health
clause, in which certain conditions and/or combinations of drug
treatments could be mitigating factors relating to her judgements.
What they are afraid of is an appeal after the fact based on her
leaked or FOIA health records.
There's a BIG double standard between a Govt. truck driver and
a Supreme Court Justice. Who do you think they would can first?
