- Word outta the 5th floor (SW section) of the building is that Sgt. Khalil-Drive-by-Muhammad will be receiving a 90 day suspension to be up‘d to 180 days by Stup-Ed. (in order to make it look legit) prior to the new administration. This dudes whack is strong to quite strong. Unbelievable...rules do not apply to this guy. What will it take?!?!
COPA offered 90 days and Stup-Ed will up it to 180 days to make it seem legit” multiple sources confirm from Sup’s office and IAD. Was originally going to be a year but they were afraid the PB would take the case due to the Sgt’s contract and Sam Cirone decision.
If you'll recall, Cirone had to serve a one-year suspension for "mis-supervising" the Koschman re-investigation. He didn't shoot an unarmed, mentally-challenged kid who ran away on video. So this is going to open up a lot of avenues for future appeals of politically tainted decisions.

Naperville Police Sgt. Ken Gettemy said police identified Savini by his vehicle's license plate, and arrested him near the intersection of Saratoga and Plainfield Naperville roads.
Savini had two children under age 18 in the car, hence the endangering charge, Gettemy said. "I can't confirm whether or not either, or both, were his kids," he said.
Savini was released on $3,000 bond shortly after 4 a.m. on the charges, which include a misdemeanor hit-and-run charge, Gettemy said.

I don’t understand though... did u guys watch the video?? What the Sgt said happen, did happen. It shows, with audio of the kid walking toward his car with his hand in the small of his back. It also shows prior to the shooting the kid running. Also, he’s not full blown non verbal autistic.. he’s only on the spectrum and believe it or not mother collects a check from the government also for the young disability. Also, the video with audio captures the officer giving verbal direction just before the shot is fired as the kid is still walking toward him with his hand near his back. You guys think this one is a bad shooting with the video and audio and you think van dyke is actually justified??!??? Hahah, yeah ok. JVD flat out made a bad bad decision and I’m my opinion got off easy. We’ve ALL been in the situation where we could have shot someone during a foot chase but didn’t because we used our heads and let it play out. Also, he’s potentially going to be suspended for something else relating to the gun not being registered with the department. The states attorney denied charges and cops found the shoot justified.

Lambert got dumped because he for a long time was told that he needed to do work. Letting reports sit in his inbox for three month and not approving them is a problem. Having agg batt teams that have the lowest clearance rates in the entire D unit and take the most time off of any other team in the D unit is a problem. He lost his spot where he did zero and he blames it on this.

Enuf time off on disability pay. Those in wheelchairs and are paralyzed, losing an eye or a limb are the ones who should be taken care of with disability pay. Talk to the officer who got shot in the face and needs 24 hour care and a breathing machine. I’m sure those involved in a shooting that have been physically disabled for life would trade places with BW anytime.
Use eap or get private help with the insurance for psych or substance abuse issues and get on with your life. Stop using disability as an emotional crutch and financial payoff.
As far as the Cpd giving awards, then reopening the shooting, well that sucks. We all know that the department is run by village idiots, test cheaters and merit doofuses...... that’s a given.
He will be getting fired. Over 30 days for sgts and above you have to go before the police board. He gone!

It's my understanding that the sergeant in 016 was looking at 275 days suspension because somebody walking by in the hallway "overheard" him use the n-word. That Sergeant just chose to retire a few days back rather than take that Loss. This guy shoots some poor sap who's Autistic or something, from the comfort of his car, and he's going to get a hundred eighty days! There certainly isn't any sort of scale when it comes to punishment in this city!

That wasn't exactly what happened with the Sgt from 016 (the incident happened in another district) but there's no way in hell the Sgt involved in the shooting should get less time.

on’t understand though... did u guys watch the video?? What the Sgt said happen, did happen. It shows, with audio of the kid walking toward his car with his hand in the small of his back. It also shows prior to the shooting the kid running. Also, he’s not full blown non verbal autistic.. he’s only on the spectrum and believe it or not mother collects a check from the government also for the young disability. Also, the video with audio captures the officer giving verbal direction just before the shot is fired as the kid is still walking toward him with his hand near his back. You guys think this one is a bad shooting with the video and audio and you think van dyke is actually justified??!??? Hahah, yeah ok. JVD flat out made a bad bad decision and I’m my opinion got off easy. We’ve ALL been in the situation where we could have shot someone during a foot chase but didn’t because we used our heads and let it play out. Hey Dummy. I did watch the video, how about the part where the young man is skipping down the street, not running he is skipping, This child was never a threat to this SGT. The kid didn't have a chance. The stand up Sgt lied his ass off until the video appeared, he knew he fucked up. Funny how this video hasn't been put on the perpetual media treadmill and shown every waking minute, fact is if this case involved a white Sgt shooting a unarmed black special needs child, the outcome would be drastically different.
This guy is related to Elijah Mohammed and Luis Farrakhan and is a meritorious sergeant. A sergeant uses racial language and gets 280 days suspension, even after apologizing and this criminal only gets 90 days?

Indeed something funky going on , listen to the audio portion at about 1:25 seconds on cbs report by Erica sargent and other guy via you tube that someone previously posted above. Question asked, "What happened audio portion captures the sgt. stating, " he was about to pull a gun on me , I had too shoot but cbs report states in writing , " it looked like he was about to pull a gun on me." big big difference. The audio captures the sgt. stating he was about to pull a gun on me implying he saw a weapon but the cbs report is doctored inserting the word looked like. listen to it. I did ten times.
Bottom line here....Bad shooting. Why only 180 days? Cozzi got a 1 year suspension for slapping someone, before the Feds were summoned. Never forget!

Great to see all the in fighting over merit fraternity brother Sgt drive by. And the lawsuit filed by merit fraternity brother tasked with handling the drive by. And the two merit detective fraternity brothers who had to handle the investigation. If that investigation by special ed and his band of brothers doesn’t violate the ethics of a sound investigation nothing does.... Nothing to see here move along,it’s are time. How tiny dancer sat by and watched this bubble head of a superintendent promote all his unqualified fraternity brothers to exempt status is a shame. I wouldn’t have a problem if they were qualified to do the job. But,it’s obviously apparent that they are not.
