Had a guy a few weeks ago that had 25 convictions for retail theft and was still denied felony charges. Yes you read that right. 25 convictions. When I asked why charges were denied I was told because the amount. So that whole thing about more than 10 convictions is pure bs. They’ll look for any excuse to deny charges

One of the local Minneapolis radio stations, KQRS, had a fascinating guest on this morning. Dr. Wilfred Reilly, PoliSci/Criminal Justice professor out of Kentucky, talking about a book he wrote debunking a bunch of fake Midwestern hate crimes and the far-left assholes inciting chaos for fortune and glory. He grew up on the South Side before moving a bit further south. Dude pulled no punches, named all the names, took a poke at Sharpton, and stated the obvious regarding the Smollett case (i.e. that he's guilty as hell but would get a pass because left-wing identity politics). Naturally, lots of people have tried to call him racist over the years but since Mr. Reilly is as black as Obama and teaches at a mostly black institution, they've apparently settled on calling him a big meanie who isn't helping the glorious people's racialist fairy tale.
This seems relevant given the events in Chicago an hour or so after the interview. Books sound fascinating, but y'all should be warned that he's a fan of Eddie. Apparently his parents knew him back in the day.

Counsel, Federal and State Prosecutor and Cook County Judge. The same Holmes who prosecuted, to the fullest, Jason Van Dyke and the detectives and officers involved in his case. They are many others that are involved in this and it goes all the way up to the last White House. The same thing is happening on the national scene. The Mueller Report was released which indicated there was no Russian collusion in the Trump administration but the Democrats will not accept that, they are niw playing dirty and subpoenaing 81 witnesses to testify before Congress in an effort to impeach the President. But nothing is happening to any of their people who commited crimes. These radical socialists have infilitrated every level of government, academia and the news media, and are out to destroy us. Protect yourselves do nothing, give them nothing, because they want to put you in jail.
I had very little faith in the criminal justice system in Cook County, now, I have none. Progressive communists are in charge.

Not a cop, but I do have experience dealing with the system. Had a credit card beef years ago but there was no way the deal was given out back then. I dealt with some asshole lawyer and a very aggressive prosecutor. Took a felony, paid a 3000 fine for a two night hotel stay and two years probation. Fine, fuck it, dealt with it, unable to work for over 10 years. Fine, dealt with that bullshit also. Companies would ask over the phone if I had a background and then say thank you and never call back. So to read how violent offenders and gun offenders get charges dropped or Ibonds now pisses me off. I never got that deal, it would have changed my life. But there are politicians who want people begging for government cheese every month instead of truly being independent.

No, her purpose is much more than this simpleton statement. Her purpose is of a much grander scheme, which is to use the power of the States Attorney office of C(r)look County to use prosecutorial and declination power to further an agenda through activism. It leads to prosecuting certain types of individuals based on race and gender and political affiliation while not prosecuting individuals that the "movement" is sympathetic to. That agenda is taking place throughout many counties and states across the country, and yes, it is and has been funded by George Soros through many of his shell non-for profit agencies.
What is the agenda? It is to reduce the amounts of minorities who are arrested, charged, convicted, and sentenced to either prison or probation. It matters not whether the individual is guilty of the crime beyond a reasonable doubt. The vehicle by which this agenda is facilitated is called Restorative Justice. Do yourself a favor and read what that is. It is the David Protess "Innocence Project"scam repackaged and redistributed.
She is a political pawn in a larger scheme taking place at the local level of governments throughout the country to subvert the rule of law in order to destabilize the local society. Destabilization then leads to more governmental control due to the upheaval that the initial subversion of law creates.
What better individual to use to carry out the agenda here in Chicago than a minority who grew up in Cabrini Green? You don't think the States Attorneys "life experiences" bias her against the police and toward "restoring" justice to minorities? She is, whether knowingly or not, an Alinsky Useful Idiot.
