Guilty!
- A reputed gang member was convicted late Thursday night in the 2011 slaying of off-duty Chicago police Officer Clifton Lewis as he worked security at a West Side convenience store.
Cook County prosecutors said Alexander Villa shot Lewis after running into M&M Quick Foods in the North Austin neighborhood with a Tec-9-style gun slung around his neck.
A jury deliberated about 3½ hours before convicting Villa about 11:30 p.m. of first-degree murder, aggravated battery and armed robbery, said Tandra Simonton, a spokeswoman for the Cook County state’s attorney’s office.
Villa, 31, faces up to life in prison. The judge will first take up post-trial motions on April 9 before imposing sentence at a later date.
The driver got 84 years, so we'd expect a something approaching 100 years for this jagoff.
Two down, one to go.

Too bad Death Penalty is not part of the choices in Illinois.
Next case.
This happened 2011, what took so long?
Did a few Search Warrants on this shit bag back in the day his father was no better,Spanish Cobra Family. "Snake Bite" right back at you Pal! Enjoy prison ROT IN HELL. Hope your dad is next!

Good job. May as well take advantage of the gangs database before Lightfoot becomes mayor and deletes it in the name of fighting imaginary racism.
I lived in Austin when this happened. I used to talk to this kind officer about his wedding. He was so human. He was so proud of his upcoming wedding. He told me how he was working to pay for the wedding. I walked to The Store that night. I saw the police and asked what happened, and I was told.... I cried. I cried that night. I cry most Christmas's when I think about this when I am home with all my fam on Adams ST. Governor Fat Ass, we need a Death Penalty for this!
I pray justice will be done. Officer Lewis’ family and friends deserve peace.
When proven guilty of murdering another human being in malicious offense the proper sentence is a dirt nap.
Rot in hell, Flip!!!!
Bring back capital punishment to Illinois, preferably the electric chair.
Burn in Hell bitch!!

Electric chair requires electricity which costs money, Guillotine requires gravity which is free.
Kudos to retired Det Frank Espo for all his hard work and dedication on this case, Area North misses you fredo...
You'll always be part of our prayers, Cliff.
We, "Never Forget."
RIP Officer Lewis. Thank you for your service. I hope this helps his family find some peace and closure. Capital punishment does need to come back to Illinois.
His stepfather Mouse the snitch should be in jail as well for an the shit he pulled.
Anon from Austin,
Thank you for bringing out the Human Side of this horrible story. Gov. Pritzker will not propose a death penalty in IL simply because (1) JB the Hutt is Madigan's bitch and (2) Madigan doesn't want it.
The gallows would serve him right ! RIP OFFICER YOU ARE NOT FORGOTTEN!
God Bless the Lewis family and the soul of Cliff
Just a straight up pice of shit. Hope you never see daylight or feel the sun and die between the cold prison walls alone.
Two down one to go. RIP cliff you were such a nice and gentle person...........................His academy mate
Bring back the firing squad. I'd volunteer and even use my own gun
and provide my own ammunition.
Will he still be able to vote for Kamala?
Wow, took 8 years in/under legally protected, tolerant, forgiving, understanding, not-so-diverse CookCo Country Club DartJail?
That in most cases, is the usual time in a State Penitentiary.
J-B Pignuts Democrat Restorative Justice Leniency Program will keep him for maybe another 3 more years.
Interesting comment someone made about IL having no Death Penalty (and never will ever again).
In TX a crew days ago they had an execution (with resumed in 1982) for an armed killing 4 including a police officer in 1989.
Convicted in 1990, appeals and new trials for 30 years kept this 70 yr old jag alive for too long.
So what will be the appeals process for this Sanctuary City violent armed killer?
And since the IL Democrats like to ban all guns from the law abiding and split hairs with police reforms, this animal so accustomed to crime and armed violence, had no problems toting around a TEC 9 in Sanctuary. Many past proactive police practices allowed for more street confiscations and prevented hundreds if not thousands of senseless killings and shootings
Under either Squatchwrinkle or Looney LightLoafer, street or vehicle stops will fall even further.
No search warrants and confiscation will be allowed for known violent armed gang members, past or present under the latest IL Red Flag Laws. That law is reserved for card carrying otherwise law abiding.
Shithole Sanctuary City.
Things are about to speed up downhill from here on with Rahm’s last minute spending and debts to future imposed No Jail restorative justice polices.

WTF is wrong with you? Post is about getting justice for a murdered CPD Officer
Thanks Governor Ryan for abolishing capital punishment in Illinois. See the movie documentary "Murder in The Park" Very Good.
I'm thankful this piece of shit is finally gonna pay.
I'm thankful this piece of shit is finally gonna pay.
now he needs life with no parole.
Its about time
The death penalty is too expensive what with all the appeals he'd go thru. Life w/o parole is the way to go. With a little luck, his ass will be dead within a decade. The prick.
Thank you to Cook County ASA’s Varga, Ricci and Adduci and their co-workers for the time and dedication which they have given to bringing justice to Cliff Lewis and his family. Your hard work is greatly appreciated!
Flad
conviction is ok, but I am still sick to mu stomach that Cliff is not here, with us. this punk needs to be the same place our brother is

Its taken 8 years to get this far, now the appeals start and no-matter the verdict it will be years before this POS is left to rot.
Hope this brings some level of pease to Officer Lewis family, to bad real justice can't be delivered to the POS that continues to breath for no good reason.
Will Dart still invite him to th pizza parties?
Flips ole man is a Federal informant has been for many years, Flip got away with so much shit that it sickened everyone who had pass dealings with Flip and his Family. I am happy to say. "Rot in Hell Flip" I hope to God your father gets it next either through the courts or street justice.
