And they posted it all here. And here. Sixty pages that Crimesha attempted to and continues to attempt to keep from public view. There are a bunch of redactions, but you can get the gist of it all and see that this was a rock-solid case for False Reports.

Gloria Schmidt, attorney for the Osundairo brothers, stated on a TV interview that absolutely, based on the evidence and the CPD investigation, that Jussie Smollett fabricated a hate-crime hoax, involving her former clients.
Thank goodness! that the few redacted pages of CPD detective supplemental reports that were released to the media per FOIA (before the corrupt judge could say, "hey, EVERYTHING about this case is sealed, SHUT UP and let Jussie Smollett spend the rest of his life saying he is a victim, and did nothing wrong!"). The release of these few pages, only a small percentage of the volumes of CPD detective reports, documents the TRUTH that Jussie Smollett did a horrible thing, to fabricate a hate crime to bolster his own career in Hollywood. Pathetic.
On top of that, Jussie Smollett is a known hater of President Trump, and Smollett's despicable actions, fabricating a hate crime, COULD have sparked nationwide riots which COULD have resulted in injuries and/or deaths to many innocent Americans.
Jussie owes the public an apology. In this case, no admission of wrong-doing by Smollett means that he can spend the rest of his career LYING to the public, claiming his 100% innocence, when the exhaustive police detectives' investigation proved beyond a reasonable doubt that Jussie masterminded this entire phoney hate crime.
Kim Foxx owes the public an apology, and an immediate resignation, as she is too morally and ethically corrupt to continue in office. Her LIE to the media that these types of Class 4 Felony cases are handled this way all the time, is ridiculous. The standard practice is for the felony charge(s) to be dropped in exchange for a plea of GUILTY to a lesser, misdemeanor charge, to document that the defendant is taking personal responsibility for the wrong that he/she did. This case is completely unprecedented, and proves that Kim Foxx is too incompetent, AND ALSO too morally and ethically corrupt to hold public office. And THANK YOU, Toni Preckwinkle, for using your political power to insert Foxx into a position that she is totally unworthy. Foxx's FALSE CLAIM that the State's Attorney's office wants to focus on violent crimes instead, is a lie because Smollett's faux hate crime account could have resulted in riots and serious physical injuries to others. And THAT is an act of SOCIAL VIOLENCE and HATE against the American people, perpetrated by Jussie Smollett.

CWB says they filed a FOI right after charges were dropped and they had the info hours later. Must be a record for a FOI request which usually takes months IF the city ever gives it up.

The national press is wasting no time slandering the CPD thanks to Crimesha. The USA Today under a link headline of "Smollett case underscores mistrust in police" has an opinion piece that basically states that the CPD lied.
Bu forfeiting his bond and fulfillinh the 16 hours of communerty service, it's doubtful that these charged could even be reinstated. As for expungement, I'm not sure how that is possible in the case since he had a previous case in California. I wonder if he had alternative sentencing in that one as well?
