We know you guys and gals have forgotten how to do investigative reporting. Many of you haven't done any actual reporting since graduating (Google doesn't count and neither does reprinting press releases). Phil Rogers and Chuck Goudie are a little rusty, having been kept from doing actual political investigative work for much of the Shortshanks era - where do you think Sparklefarts learned it all?
But here's an opportunity for you to shine, uncovering massive corruption and subverting the Rule of Law, costing taxpayers their safety and the safety of their children. One catch though:

- you have to report on democrats.
In fact, on one particular democrat. But not to worry. She's wounded. And her political supporters are leaving her unprotected. Here's where you start:
- In Illinois, when a person in ordered by the court to register as a sex offender and fails to do so, they can be charged with a Class 3 Felony (punishable by 2-5 years in the Illinois Department of Corrections) for a first time offense.
And here's some info to get you started:
- Sex offenders are required to register annually at their police department headquarters. The police department is required to verify the registration annually, via a house visit. Locally, this task is delegated to the Patrol Division and thousands of home visits are accomplished without incident.
- But in something like 10% of the cases, no contact is made because sex offenders have died, been imprisoned, or moved without telling anyone. You can't charge a dead sex offender and those in prison are accounted for, but hundreds of sex offenders are unaccounted for and are then the subject of Detective Division Investigative Alerts.
- In Cook County, these Convicted Felons, when arrested, are not charged with the Class 3 Felony as required by law due to the actions of one person - Kim Foxx. Instead, Sex Offenders are told, "Go register" and released at approximately a 100% rate.
The rap sheets on some of these offenders are stomach churning. The addresses that some have moved to are what may accurately be called "hunting grounds" for their depredations. But Foxx and her "progressive" allies are all to willing to allow predators easy access to victims, including children, for their twisted agenda.

Yep. Within the past year I have brought in at least a half dozen arrests for non compliant sex offenders who are out of registration. Not registered equals breaking the law clear as day. There is no grey area about it. You are either registered or not. It’s a term of their release by the judge and is part of the sentence. On every single case the detectives have come out, did what they were supposed to do and then all released without charges after charges denied by the states attorney. Not a single one charged with the felony. I thought it was just a string of bad luck on my part but now I can see it’s effecting everyone.
May I also ask why the entrance to “sex offender registration” office is located on the secured parking lot side of headquarters?
The gate attendant is sure to check my ID to make sure I can enter, but if I was a convicted felon child predator? Sure! No problem, come right in!
I mentioned this before years ago, but why is it that police officers coming to headquarters to take care of administrative business, and officers working at HQ (no, I don’t work at HQ) have to be subjected to walking past/through this group of predators when entering/exiting the building?
CPD smokers going outside and sharing a smoking area with registered sex offenders out there shucking and jiving? It’s ridiculous.
Hypothetically, what about an officer working Narcotics or Gangs who is on the medical.

I’ve always seen this as a slap in the face to the CPD, and a potential safety hazard for the officers of all districts and units of assignment. A big “fuck you” from the city to us.

And maybe allow the people who follow the rules and can purchase/register firearms access in the secured parking lot?
Still not perfect, but a better option.

I was at the Markham courthouse the other day, and I had to watch a child molester who flat out refuses to register as a sex offender, be let go on a $2000 I-Bond. The judge gave him 3 days to report to a police station to register. Safe to say that that's not gonna happen.
So glad we have "reform ".

The CCSAO under Foxx’s Reign has neglected to prosecute sexoffenders who fail to register. They either don’t approve charges thru felony review or if charges are approved, fail to fully prosecute. The ASA puts them in a “court diversion program” where the ASA tells the convicted sex offender “to go register” and we will drop charges.
The thing is, as you could only guess, many times Joe Predator doesn’t show up at the sex registration as directed by the prosecutor and is the wind. These offenders should be in prison for failing to register and the CCSAO bears no responsibility in upholding the law of the state.
In the meantime, there’s a felon wandering around looking for another 5 year old to sodomize who should be behind bars.

You forgot to mention that there are over " 400 registered homeless sex offenders" in Chicago. They are required to register weekly. They only go homeless because they don't want anyone knowing where they live at.

That only pertains to publicly held corporations. I don't know how this will affect attracting businesses to come to Illinois. I think most companies try to do this already to save face so this might just he a fluff law to boost lawmakers standing in the community

Since the only people that have to register their guns are CPD, why do they need that office? Gun registration can be run using a tall filing cabinet anywhere. Guns are only registered once.
Government cannot expand without the people being in fear.

These reporter's also need to know that we Chicagoans need to realize that being a sanctuary city deplete what's left of our economy along with increasing the amount of crime. California passed a similar law to include women on corporate boards, to promote gender equality. This Illinois law goes one step further by imposing an inclusion of a specific race, while excluding others (hispanic, asian, etc.). I wouldn’t be surprised if it’s Constitutionality is contested.

Regarding bosses who let the “homeless out of control”. The “bosses” cannot control the IL SORA law regarding the homeless and the gray area along with apparent abuse. Those bosses tried many times to speak to the ASA regarding these registrants and also had detectives who’s task was to investigate the homeless cases, make arrests and get felony charges approved. As we are all aware, felony review has their own agenda and with Kim Fox at the helm trying to get these cases prosecuted are an uphill battle as she completely ignores the laws. The waiting room allows for a lot of discussion amongst on how to beat the system, but these “bosses” had no control over that, the building management made those decisions.

Aranda was born in Chicago, where Cook County court documents showed a 2014 arrest for aggravated assault with a deadly weapon at a Golden Nugget restaurant. A case summary said Aranda beat a restaurant employee with a telephone when she threatened to call police about his bill, and pulled a knife on a bystander who intervened. He ultimately pleaded guilty and was sentenced to 18 months' probation.

The idiot Bonnie A. is responsible for the signage over the front doors of the new police stations. District 1, District 7, District 17 and so on does not represent the sworn culture.
001st District or 001, 007th District or 007, 017th District or 017 and so on would be in keeping with the sworn culture, but Bonnie A. knew better and did not see a need to consult any sworn members about signage.
What happened to the federal investigation of ju see smell it sending white powder , threatening letter in U. S. Mail .
The Criminal Injustice system in Cook County and Murder City is perking along. The corrosive and corrupt Courts, Kimmy's State's Attorney's Office, City Hall. the Transition Team and Special Ed's Top Brass have the crime situation under control. Their Crime Fighting Plan for summer is being stood up. Murder City will be in full control of all of its vast resources.
Two key pieces are missing from the Plan. The first is the Police Officers and Policing Operations. With no contract after two years, Democratic socialist in power, Murder Mayor Rahm completely deconstructing police effectiveness, IPRA, COPA (Lightfoot), hiding videos until after the election, consent decree, incompetent police management and the list goes on. Bottom Line minimal and basic police activity. Police respond accordingly.
Second item is the Community. In spite of the wailing of victims who have seen their sons, daughters and family members murdered and maimed by their own, their expectations remained low that anything will change. They will continue to be murdered at a horrific rate this summer. The "Community No Snitch Street Standard" is in full effect. The reverends and politicians and the Democratic Socialist run the city and the Community remains complacent and obedient. As for being obedient and compliant for Mr. Chalky - not so much.
The mew mayor will have little impact on Items 1 & 2. New names heading up the same old programs under new titles. The media and Community will love it. Hail to the new Mayor. Soon success will be proclaimed, the citizens are safe and a clear victory for the Democratic Socialist. All is good.
