Cops Injured Where?
- A three-vehicle crash on Saturday in Humboldt Park hurt six people — including two police officers who were in an unmarked police vehicle.
The crash happened about 5 p.m. at Washington Boulevard and Kenton Avenue, Chicago police said.
The two officers were taken to Stroger Hospital, where their condition wasn’t immediately known, the Chicago Fire Department said. Two others hurt in the crash were taken to Mount Sinai Hospital in serious condition and another two were taken to Loretto Hospital in good condition.
Washington and Kenton is no where near "Humboldt Park." It even falls outside the made-up neighborhood of "West Humboldt Park." It's practically Austin last time we checked. This is what happens when reporters don't go out into the field.

Reporters getting facts straight are not unusual or new. Anyone who has been on the job for awhile has seen one on the cases they worked on, from beginning to end, turned into a fairytale of misinformation.
What's noteworthy is that CPD cops are still racing to what are , as a general rule, complete BS.
I do wish the not so wise officers, a complete and slow [wink, wink] recovery.

Now, as to the crack journalists getting the neighborhood of occurrence wrong, this isn't the first time, and it's not only the Tribune.
A 'while back' there was one of those articles in the Slum-Times on the weekend's shootings, and it had one shooting reported to have taken place in my old 'beautiful' Brighton Park. The only problem was that it occurred nowhere near Brighton Park but in either Gage Park or 'West Englewood'. I can't recall which one right now, but that's not the point, the point being is that today's 'journalists' are too LAZY to care if they get all the facts right in a news article.
If reporters don't care about getting the 'the small stuff' right. Then how does anyone know if they're getting 'The Big Stuff' right? And IMHO that question answers itself -- We've seen from all the erroneous bullshit reporting on 'Russia! Russia! Russia! for the last 2 1/2 years, that they ain't! And they don't care about that either.
It's no wonder that Newspapers and News Magazines are folding one after another.
Doing stuff in and for the ghetto has its hazards.

This is interesting thought Chicago is not fit to stay connected to the corrupt state but then again we are #1 in corruption and when the heat hits soon we are in for more bodies on ground and more crowding hospitals where innocent people need the er the thugs and thuglife will be flooding these places. Thankfully the university of Chicago opened that trauma center and betting now the ceo and head of that hospital is talking to the idiots that pushed for this and saying "Your out of your f"n mind!"
What is really more insane when thugs are in there the police in force have to guard the inside and outside to prevent the "fambly," from destroying the ER rooms,the hospitals try to mend them up and with their animalistic instincts they just want to destroy. Oh it is not racism when it is the truth and realism!
Of course, some reporters have never been to Humboldt Park.
