You'd think a new mayor was coming in or something with all the moves underway. As predicted though, Special Ed was pissed that the scheduled changes made it here before he got a chance to make them. Sorry (not sorry) about that. Our spies are buried deep in HQ's business and have been for years.
- Valadez couldn’t pass the vetting so they had to dig deep into the non-existant decimated Hispanic upper ranks to replace Noel Sanchez.
- Look for one more Commander (Joyce to A/F) and 2 more Captains from the current Captains-in-Training list to be made
- Saldana dropped his resignation today, so Roman is being shifted from 019 to 014.
Expect more "adjustments" as Special Ed doesn't want his moves protecting/advancing his people to be undone by LightGroot taking over and putting her people in places.

If he couldn’t clear the vetting process, one has to wonder how he could be a Street Deputy. The Street Deputy is one of the most important positions in the Department. He/she makes decisions that can have tremendous consequences for an individual officer or the Department as a whole. For example, ordering a ODPO or ODSGT to blow at a scene of an ODSGT suicide. That would eliminate any indication of impropriety by the Department. The Street Deputy has to make tough decisions with the big picture in mind. If he can’t do that, one has to wonder what is clouding his judgement. Not being cleared to be the Chief of OCD in concerning, especially cause his decisions can affect me, you, all of us regardless of rank. Maybe he should just hang it up so we can all be comfortable with the Street Deputy that shows up for an incident he is required to do so and I’m, you, or any CPD member is involved in.

Maybe not in your short career kid. I worked with Saldana back before you were a twinkle in mom, and dad's eye. I haven't seen him in over 10 years, so I am not a sycophant. But he did work the streets in A'5 on the west side for some time. Back then, I would have never thought he would get promoted to unit commander. Maybe he's not up to your standards hard charger. Did you not pay attention to her campaign when she said she will be honest and transparent? Lori Lightfoot will take the politics out of the police department and promote only the best and brightest regardless of race or sex or ethnic background. No more patronage in the police department. But looking at this list I guess if you’re not Hispanic or African American you aren’t getting anything....

Maurizzio Inzerra. Chris Kennedy’s best friend. The FBI not only wanted him booted from the Task Force but also wanted him completely out of Gang Investigations. He’s a two faced snake who was taken care of by Kennedy the whole time. All time due denied because it’s Memorial Day or 4th of July? Or a large protest anticipated? I heard the sergeant got flipped on his ass with one hand after he jumped in the PO's face and pushed the PO twice. The PO gave warning to the sergeant saying dont push me again and the merit Sergeant deliberately disobeyed and got flipped on his ass with one hand.

narcotics: who is the female sergeant that Commander Kimble is Protecting after she tore her ass with the States Attorney's. She should have been stripped a long time ago. Instead he's hiding her in Narcotics as an Admin. Sergeant. So now he has 2 admin. Sergeants?
He's going to get his ass in a sling playing favoritism. Maybe the new Deputy Chief will address the problems in the unit.

Randy Darlin should be the next Supt. Made every promotion off score, and knows how to lead.
He knows where the troops should be deployed, and not afraid to stand up for his decisions.
