A Reminder

  • A man died two days after a car he was in crashed while trying to evade police in Austin on the West Side.

About 8:50 p.m. Thursday in the 5100 block of West Chicago Avenue, police tried to stop a Chevrolet Monte Carlo for a traffic violation when it took off westbound on Chicago Avenue, Chicago police said. The car crashed into a Chevrolet Equinox and later into a pole before coming to a stop, police said. The driver of the Equinox, a 58-year-old woman, and the passenger, a 56-year-old woman, were taken to the West Suburban Medical Center in Oak Park where their conditions were stabilized, police said.

The driver of the Monte Carlo was able to get out of the car and run from police, but the passenger, Geremiah Staples, 19, was taken to Stroger Hospital in critical condition, police said. Staples was pronounced dead at 9:34 p.m. Saturday at Stroger Hospital, the medical examiner’s office said.
Just stop.

Don't give the new progressive social justice warrior administration ammunition.

I’ve been preaching this to anyone and everyone while explaining the ramifications that go along with pursuits coupled with the fact that the criminal public and media despise us. I understand that new officers want to work, but please educate yourselves on what is presently occurring and the people running the show.

OT: 1of2 So to steal a phrase from the EJ, "I have more questions than I do answers." WTF is going on in the 007th district? So first event last week there is a Shotspotter event with multiple shots being fired. 765 close enough to almost on view it and calls for more cars. Police arrive and witness points out the house to where an offender ran into. Moments later a victim arrives claiming she was shot at and that her brother may be shot and in that same house. Under Sgt. and Tact Lt. supervision, officers believing they have exigent circumstances make forced entry after offender refuses to open door and attempts to barricade. Police get in and make arrest and find the handgun used in the Aggravated Discharge/Attempt Murder. All good, right? Sure, of course, except for this tidbit of information. The WC, LT C.M. a self proclaimed attorney forgets what job he's doing and decides to play defense attorney and judge. He chastises these hard working officers after watching the BWCs. Openly alleges that they did an H/I and that the search inside the house was unlawful. Refuses to approve PC. One bigger problem for LT C.M. though. The detective working the case calls it in and receives felony approval for Agg. Discharge from a Felony Review Supervisor. LT C.M. is beside himself and is ready to throw the coppers under the bus. He calls Felony Review and basically attempts to talk the ASA out of approving charges citing an unlawful search. The CCSAO is astonished and can't believe what she's hearing and tells him "no, charges already approved." So now we have felony charges approved without PC yet approved by LT C.M. Ultimately, the detective who actually has a set, rips into the WC and convinces him to approve PC. Unfuckingbelievable!! But it gets worse in the 007th district...continued

OT: 2of2 Thor Soderberg, a Chicago police officer was shot and killed on July 07th 2010 while in the police lot at 61st and Racine. I have to mention Thor’s death because of the following. The other night a “10-1” is given out on Zone 6. Officers assigned to GEU South at 61 Racine encounter a subject inside the police lot lurking amongst the personal vehicles of the officers. The subject is approached by a GEU Sgt who has just finished working 30+ hours from an incident the night before and is about to get in his car and go home. The subject shoves or batters the Sgt causing injury and then attempts to disarm the Sgt. Another officer who was hoping to go home after an extended 30 hour tour goes to assist and the subject tries disarming him as well. The subject breaks loose and flees. The officers radios are dead because of the aforesaid extended tour the night before and have to call 911. Assist units arrive and subject is located and arrested. Here’s where it all goes south - The arrival to the 007th district. In summary, the subject played the “I’m mental” card and the on duty Sgt of GEU and the 007 WC, LT T.G. bought it hook, line and sinker. The involved Sgt and officer are so spent and ready to fallout from not sleeping in 48 hours they have no fight in them and wave the white flag of surrender, if just to get home and get some rest. Clearly these poor guys aren’t thinking rationally and should not have even been required to stay. The “leadership” should have allowed them to go home and sleep for a few hours and then return before attempting to tackle this, but that never crossed their minds because the GEU Sgt. takes the lead, looking for the easy way out and with the full approval of LT. T.G. is RWOC and then brought by the wagon to the hospital run for an evaluation. The subject’s brother later the next day confronts another GEU officer and claims that his brother bragged about whipping the Sgt. And PO and got released without charging. What has this department been riddled to? Nine years ago one of our own was gunned down in this same lot. Thor Soderberg too, was trying to get home to his family, but never made it. And now nine years later, we have a situation that could've been equally devastating, and no one bats an eye. What the living fuck is going on? Have all supervisors been castrated and indoctrinated to buy into this CIT bullshit to the expense of their own officers? Shame, shame, shame on LT. T.G. for her ineptness and her overall lack of empathy shown to the officers. “Pardon me, while I close my door to you all and call my husband and ask him what I should do.” And this ladies and gentlemen is what passes for leadership in 2019 CPD. Please look out for yourself and your partners, especially while in the confines of the 007th district. Buses running full speed and not stopping.

The only reason to use the blue lights and sirens is if there is a call of an officer or a police family that needs assistance other than that shut that shit off it’s over with turn on your radio, enjoy your cuppa coffee, eat a nice meal watch Netflix other than that what is wrong with you people?

007th District Warrior, just because you “believe” you have exigency circumstances, doesn’t mean you actually have exigency circumstances. If there is no hot pursuit, and it is pieced together as you say it was- what was committed was EXACTLY a H/I.
In taking the time to get a search warrant approved- no evidence would have been lost, and the offender would have not made his escape. Surround the house and type the warrant- believe it or not that’s been done before. He can’t flush the gun.
But just because you “believe” something doesn’t make it right. I’m sure your kid also “believes” in the Easter bunny and Santa, similar in truth to your beliefs about the 4th amendment.

Here's a bit of good news:

It looks like some regular folks in and around Minneapolis are now doing honest crime reporting on Somalian mob violence, and the blogs seem similar to Crime in Wrigleyville and Boystown, SCC.

https://www.americanthinker.com/blog/2019/05/information_slowly_emerging_about_pipewielding_mob_of_somali_youths_who_attacked_people_waiting_for_light_rail_train_in_minneapolis_last_friday.html

Some Somalian "youths" were apparently attacking light rail commuters near the University of Minnesota. Of course the local, state and national Lib media will bury such a story because Somalians are always presented as model citizens bring the joys of DIVERSITY and the new shining star Afro Islamists SJC warrior Congresswoman who hates everything American.

So much in our Chicago, so much in Lib Blue State urban American doesn't work. The Fake news Lib media doesn't work, neither does the pathetic Cuckservative, Neo Conservative false opposition.

But SCC and Crime in Wrigleyville and Boystown, SCC, Hey Jackass works.

Let's encourage other brave, honest regular citizens to learn from our local crime blogging success and start their own similar blogs.

OK, so not everything is bad, getting worse.

That will change soon when the new rollout of police duties comes out soon, the retired guys will have the opportunity to come back and work inside freeing many of the desk dollies to hit the streets where they belong, and 1 of the duties will be a car 24/7 doing station security in the lots and that is welcomed. The pay for the retired coppers will be $32.75 per hour no overtime, no benefits watch how quickly the jobs are taken.

Also the inspection division is being beefed up, and you will see more inspectors on the streets which is also needs, lastly look what Lori said "More police will be out of their cars," which means you will be walking and talking like old school, guess that millennial staying fetal, fuck this job movement will be ending, or you will be offered a resignation appointment.

Hey stupid, the original post states a victim showed up “moments later”, without watching the bwc I don’t know how long that was. Yes, the post said the brother “may” have been in the house and possibly shot too, and there was a shotspotter hit, and a Sgt almost on viewed the shooting so the shots fired were bonafide. The post also stated the officers “believed” they had exigent circumstances. So who the fuck do you think you are to second guess them? You weren’t there. The officers will be fine, no home invasion here as they likely entered thinking they were going to save a “victim”. Shitbird or not, the officers should be commended for their work. Obviously the felony review supervisor agrees too, asshole.

If the guy is a bonified mental then you check him in end of story. Didn’t we learn from the 002nd district incident with the Jets not to just lock up a mental just because we want to win?? Or the 025th district incident where a mental was arrested and charged with agg batt to police and the coppers ended up paying punitive. If it’s a mental then it’s a mental. They will then petition it. Don’t charge a mental
Just to get even. It sucks it’s a disarming incident but don’t get hit punitively. He’s in custody, nobody got killed and now it’s time to do the right thing. Sorry if you think it’s unpopular but I’ve been jammed up by several coppers who act like idiots.
