Guess who doesn't want a Special Prosecutor looking too closely at her office?
- Cook County State’s Attorney Kim Foxx’s office opposes appointing a special prosecutor to investigate the dismissal of charges against “Empire” actor Jussie Smollett.
Foxx had recused herself from the case after saying she communicated with a relative of Smollett’s in the early phases of the investigation but a filing by prosecutors Tuesday argued that Foxx did not have an actual conflict of interest.
Prosecutors also echoed Smollett’s attorneys in arguing that the appointment is unnecessary, since the county inspector general’s office — at Foxx’s request — is already investigating the controversy.
Foxx’s office also sought to quash subpoenas seeking her appearance at a hearing Thursday on the proposed appointment.

What a terrible State’s Attorney and person she is. Then she says that she’s already being investigated by the cook county inspector general? That’s a big NOTHING! It’s another Kim Fixx. All of this is telegraphing their fear of what's about to come to light.
Foxx is above any laws, she does whatever she wants if she is questions the race card is slammed down, people /folks do this when their gross incompetence is called into play.

Citizens of Chicago are becoming more, and more unsafe. Cook county criminal prosecutions are the main reason for this. The laws are pretty clearly written, and someone who is elected to enforce them and takes an Oath to do so, should be investigated when they fail to do so.
Something really stinks here, and like an onion, the more layers you peel back, the more it really stinks. Cook county voters are being endangered by an AGENDA DRIVEN CANDIDATE WHO DOESNT CARE ABOUT THE RULE OF LAW. Civilized Social order requires Law and Order. The appearance (by those who are watching) of chaos in the streets of Chicago is a direct result of the absolute failure of the criminal justice system. FOXX, Tom Dart, and lenient judges have failed us tremendously. The police have been kept on a "short leash" by politicians who have no business in government. Yet they are re-elected term after term.
FOXX is GUILTY of refusing to prosecute crimes in an already dysfunctional office. She is only the tip of the iceberg in this cascade of errors into chaos and violence in this city. I hope and pray that this investigation into her office continues, but sadly, the continued political will to fix this debacle must come from our current political leaders.
Ladies and gentlemen, we are seeing a glimpse into the future, and it does not look well.

In reporting the story on Foxx now opposing a special prosecutor look into her misconduct as SA in the Smell-it affair, Crepeau slips this in:

No, Ms. Crepeau -- Foxx never recused herself, and you of all people know that.
If your editor altered your copy you must insist on a correction or resign; if not, you should resign and go work for a PR firm.

On cbs ten news last night, they reported that the hearing today about a special prosecutor for Fox investigation with the chief judge Leroy Martin Jr., could be corrupted by the fact that the judge’s son, Leroy Martin III, works in the state’s attorney’s office. Crimesha is his boss.
I love those family connections. When Leroy Martin Sr. Left the Chicago Police Department as Superintendent, he landed a job as the chief notification taker at the Cook County Medical Examiner’s Office. His son, Leroy Martin Jr. was a Cook County Circuit Court judge.
Leroy Martin Jr. is now the chief judge of the Cook County Circuit Courts and his son Leroy Martin III, is a Assistant States Attorney for the Cook County States Attorney’s office.
From now on, I guess every criminal should be able to choose their own investigator. It can be called the Kim Foxx standard. Kim Foxx standard which leads to the Jussie Smollett treatment.
Look! Kim Foxx is inventing whole new terms of art in Crook County!
