Never Forget. Never Forgotten.
Thank you all who responded that day and in the days that followed. The changes that occurred in life as a result of that day pale in comparison to those who lost their life and loved ones

You're surprised by this? University students are taught to hate the country. How could they be bothered to remember a tragedy? Plus, anything that happened 5 minutes before they were born is ancient history. I was born in the 1950's and have a bit of knowledge of what happened since the 1930's and a a general understanding of this countries history since the 1700's. Or is it 1619 or whatever the new York Times said the history began? I get so confused listening to idiot new york nit wits claims of our history.
Some people we "serve" in certain communities don't even know what "9/11" is.
Forgotten? They don't even care to know about it. Love of country is not a millenial strong suit.
Like most of you I remember it like yesterday I was a young buck in college and it was the reason I got on this job because I saw the true brotherhood between all first responders and it reminded me of what I got playing football my whole life. I still shed a tear or two every time I watch all the 9/11 stuff. My children will never understand and hopefully they will never have anything like this. I know my parents had Kennedy. My grandparents had Pearl Harbor. Hopefully we can find peace in this world. If we can’t thank God we have Marines!!!!
God bless everyone that died on that terrible day. I have not forgotten you and remember exactly where I was when it happened.

I still remember where I was that morning and watched the second plane fly into the WTC and saw the towers fall on TV. I think they should show that video often because people easily forget.
But the left and their media lapdogs decided that being reminded of the events of 9/11 would be bad for the good citizens of the US. They want us to forget those events and especially forget WHO DID IT! They even allow alternate theories of the events, blaming our own government, to be repeated in the media to confuse people and make them think it is possible that the government staged the atrocities. The left and the media continually APOLOGIZE and kowtow to those responsible. It’s disgusting.
I will never forget and I hope you won’t either.

Certainly can remember being glued to the TV for a solid week! Could not believe what I was seeing with my own eyes! The churches were FULL and people were courteous to each other for a month or so. Then, things got back to "normal."
In the ensuing years, the universities have dumbed down the students, gone (really) far left, we've been Obama-tized, to where those who hurt/killed/disfigured/tortured us are the new "heroes" if you will. It's beyond sick!
We remembered for several years and now, to the 20 something's, the snow flakes and such might call this "ancient history."

Very sad day indeed, I remember like it were yesterday, I recall signing in court and later being unable to return and sign out because they had closed the courthouse for the day...
If just one politician had had the guts to keep people out of this country who would ultimately do it harm, this would not have happened.
I think all of us who were old enough eighteen years ago will never forget where we were when the planes struck the Twin Towers and the Pentagon and then when the Towers went down. And then, subsequently finding out about another airliner that went down in a field in Pennsylvania, a plane that was on its way to strike either the Capitol Building or the White House.
God Bless all who gave their lives on Sept 11, 2001, and God Bless America.
BTW -- We all know of FDR's speech on Dec 8,1941 where he said the Japanese attack of Pearl Harbor on Dec 7, 1941, was a date that would live in Infamy. Until Sept 11th, 2001 that may have been so. But consider that Japan attacked our Naval Forces, the military, the Islamic Terrorists did no such thing -- they attacked civilians. I say THAT is the textbook definition of 'Infamy'.

I spent the majority of my adult life traveling back-and-forth to the Middle East with the military . Someday 9-11will be just another day on the calendar like Pearl Harbor. It is our job as parents to make sure our youth never forget what was lost that day . Never forget!!!

Nineteen year on this date, class 00-05 started the academy. It’s been a somber reminder every year after on this day of infamy.
9\11, the day America was introduced to Islam.
We are so vulnerable to an even worse attack it’s pathetic. When the Cartels can smuggle hundreds of people unimpeaded over the border at a time who thinks they can’t smuggle well trained and armed seasoned terrorists? The bad guys are still focused on aviation to hit us hard and cripple the economy. It took the airlines years to recover and stole our American freedom of movement and if they targeted a handful of nuclear plants it could kill millions. We have become nothing but a pussified large version of Rogers Park that has forgotten what happened 18 years ago today and it’s downright scary.

Never forgive, never forget. My son was in third grade when this happened and from that point on he knew he wanted to be in the military. He landed in Afghanistan today for a tour of duty, I'm not sure if that's by coincidence or if it was meant to be. Thinking of all 1st responders on this date.
I went to graduate school in New York City and my classes were 2 blocks from the World Trade Center. I left crime/immigration anarchy New York City 2 years before the Islamic extremists bombed the World Trade Center the first time in 1993 (Check out wikipedia on the blind Egyptian Islamic cleric with a hook for a hand - perfect bad guy.
I predicted more Islamic terrorist slaughters in New York City and other Western Cities and wasted ~ 15 years trying to work in Conservative politics to make some serious changes to our insane, suicidal immigration policies that floods our country with these 8th century extremists that hate us.
Can't say I/we've had much success - the #*$&@ Neo Conservatives just spun 9/11/01 as reason for more American wars, interventions against secular Arabs in Iraq, Syria, Libya.
Meanwhile the Islamic invasions of the USA/Western Europe, Sweden UK goes on same as before. Anybody objecting, resisting or just noticing gets smeared as a beyond the pale racist, NAZI. And it's Cuckservatives, Conservative Inc that do the worst smearing - such prostittutes.

What I regret almost as much is 9/12/2001
On that day we as Americans were all united.
We put aside our differences and came together as a nation.
There wasn't a bumper that didn't have an American flag sticker and most houses were flying the American flag.
We have lost all of that and are now a nation divided.
18 years later I am still flying my American flag. I have flown one continuously since that day. I have not forgotten.
I lost track of how many flags and flagpoles I have gone through.

I remember that day well ingrained in memory forever. I didn’t grow up in Chicago but very Midwest roots. There was a line a mile long going to both gas stations in my town. My dad still was driving a maroon caprice classic 1989 4-door. The gas station was tapped out about 3 cars before we got in. My dad was cussing up a storm on the way home and on the way we saw a guy in my high school standing at a bridge holding an American flag over the side just so everyone could be reminded who we are and what we stood for. Many in my high school were turning 18 and enlisted. I love the flag and all that it stands for. How things have changed. Now, they banned saying the pledge of allegiance in our schools and kids are indoctrinated to hate those who represent the flag and uphold the law of the land, which separates us from the animals who destroyed the towers, and the “communities” we serve who are just as bad as the bastards who destroyed the towers and killed thousands of people. The “community members” are fucken terrorists as well, just urban ones. Wear that flag on your shoulder and remember what it means and be PROUD of it. Anyone who doesn’t get it, fuck em. They’re already doomed anyways but real Americans, I mean REAL ones, are proud and true and weather the storm, and will still be here to do the right thing by those who deserve it, and some that don’t. Because that’s what that flag stands for, freedom, the American dream and doing right by your fellow man. So sharing intelligence between the military and civilians is wrong per the Patriot Act. Better security at the airports is wrong? I think not. A never ending war, unfortunate but the radical Islamists are playing the long game. We can not ignore that fact unless we want to welcome Sharia law in this country. And remember, we still have troops in Germany and that was was ended decades ago.
Never can, nor never will forget.
Prayer go out to everyone on this tragic day. I think the NYPD, NYFD, New Jersey first responders and everyone else did a good job after the planes were hit. I can't help but think? How would of Chicago reacted if the Sears Tower and Hancock building were hit? I know we would of gave our hearts and lives. But, would this city have been as prepared?

Very sad anniversary for the USA. I couldn't do much to honor those killed, maimed, and those left broken hearted. But I think I did a little something to stand up for this country. I joined the NRA today just to imagine the look on the face of all the hate America "Some people did something to some people" commies!
God bless all who died, the men who ran in when most ran away and those who went into some forsaken hole to chase out the evil doers who perpetrated it. It's something that should be making us grateful for what we have in society. Certainly not forgotten, and if I have my way my son who was born over a decade later will know what and why it is important that we remember and honor this day.
