It is about time but whoever wins the presidency which of course is not gonna be Kevin Graham unless the democratic way was put in place to count the votes. All those years Kevin you were in and you really did nothing we had no voice and if you win again we will still have no voice you’re keep hiding in the corner and nothing will change. JCat Do you have a loud voice, you definitely do have a loud voice hopefully when you win you will calm down a little bit do everything methodically make sure that Pension is funded properly, get a decent contract at least equal to what day no work no show teachers got at the minimum.

May 7th. Murray, Barlett, Garza, Capparelli, all making Capt's pay for two months after they are out of office. Meanwhile the City still ignores Graham.
May 30th date was "declared" by John Cantanzara on Facebook. The run-off election is not being held today. Cantanzara is trying to force the Election Committees hand by going around them. He made an appeal to them and lost the appeal 3-0 and even the Arbitrator ruled the authority of the Election Committee is valid backed by the State Order. The National Lodge even stated elections should not be held at this time. Cantanzara is setting this all up for a lawsuit if he losses.
I heard that they are doing an on site election for those who did not receive a ballot for the runoff on 07 & 08 May. Ballots to be counted after.
I would say file a lawsuit, but Grahm is gonna win anyway thanks to our florida comrades.
No reason for a delay in the election count. Results should have been out earlier.
As of right now the walk in will be May 7th from 9-12. The verification and count will start immediately afterwards and continue into May 8th because it will be done by hand. The State Lodge is providing the manpower to do the count because the counting company refuses to participate due to the governors order even though they were given the OK. The dates continues to get pushed back again and again because of the election committee. They initially refused to count on April 3rd. The new Board of Directors voted to force the count to be done today however more roadblocks were put in place to make that impossible. There are still attempts to make May 7&8 not doable either. Stay tuned for the actual date(s).
Meanwhile the old field reps are still in place getting paid to do very little except Cantore on Covid. The whole office is working on a part time schedule because of safety concerns even though the members are not afforded that option. Kevin has refused to bring up the 1st VP who should know everything going on up there and the new Treasurer who takes over after Capparelli being in that spot for several terms. There is ALOT for the Treasurer to learn but clearly that will be done on the fly the way Kevin is handling this situation. Our lodge at work.

I think your right. Catanzara got all the votes he’s gonna get with maybe the exception of a hundred or two. People who voted for Prieb are not going to go completely opposite and move toward a guy like catanzarra as they are night and day candidates. More than likely, they are all moving toward graham because graham and prieb are the closer candidates. Ray Cassiano already endorsed Kevin so maybe half of his votes will go to graham and half to JCAT. Prieb had over 2k votes most of which will go to graham putting him WELL over JCAT. Also, I know of numerous people who changed their original vote from JCAT to GRaham for the second vote because of the info coming out about JCAT and his stalking CR numbers and domestic Cr numbers getting out. Especially some of the ladies I know.. I’m a woman so I changed my vote from JCAT to Graham after reading that. JCATs only doing this to stop him from getting fired. He’s 52. He needs to get to 55 for the health insurance. If he makes president then he can delay his investigation and make it to 55 and retire before he gets fired and keep a pension and his health care. He know that is his ONLY out otherwise he’s getting fired. Sorry John, you should have been fired 6 separate times already. You have never been a good police officer. At roll call we found out they were out playing around and making random traffic stops. They locked up a Juvenile for the usual running away BS. The Juvenile went to the Jisc and is now claiming to have the Corona virus. Now our watch has to babysit him at the hospital. Weather he has the virus or not could you morons just stop it till this virus blows over? If you dont care about yourselves or us maybe you should care about taking it home to your family. Not true. Been retired for over ten years. Have my pension, deferred and some investments. Why worry, city is mandated to pay into our pensions through tax levies. I know laws can be changed but it’s not easy and takes time. City won’t file for bankruptcy because they have to open the books and TIF funds. Also bankruptcy for a city the size of Chicago would take forever. Don’t think I’ll be around. Just enjoying my retirement. Came on in the 60’s and what do you think the first thing the old timers told us. Right. “Kid, the pension won’t be there when you retire” and in the 89’s. Don’t invest in deferred, the city will steal your money and it won’t be there when you retire. Sure glad I didn’t listen to them

More time was needed so that the National FOP could render a decision as to whether or not JCat’s current status would make him “not in good standing” thus making him ineligible to hold elected office in the FOP.
I was going to click on the link showing Mayor BugEyes and Oprah dancing for the CPS graduates, but puking was not on my to-do list today.
