It’s the worst police shooting I’ve ever seen. I just don’t understand. I can’t even come up with a bad reason as to why it happened.

I e-mailed a CBS reporter on why very little coverage of an unarmed black kid getting shot by an off duty black officer while an armed black kid gets shot by an on duty white officer gets blasted on the news almost everyday. I asked why all the necessity to always say it was a white officer in the case of Van Dyke but never once was it mentioned that the off duty was black. All he said was "I covered it". End of reply. No mention about the anti-white news coverage

Sorry, being the police this offender is not an Angel, he had an arrest able amount of weed on him and didnt want to get locked up. He had no legal right to resist arrest but this officer had no cause to use deadly force and listened to her partner when he told her to shoot, not once but twice and then the States Attorney's office drops charges just to try to ease the pain. Yes he hit the jackpot and claims he has big health issues now, well just wait until he gets his cash, his pain will go away, so should both of these cops, what is CPD hiring.

The hypes outside ALL THREE Walgreens are wearing sandwich boards that read “the end is near” and Justice For that white guy on the train platform” (no one in Gar Ridge knows his name, or that he’s Hispanic.) Many residents have lawn signs that read “pick up your dog waste, brought to you by Alderman Burke” and they have hand written in sharpie marker “go home black cops” while many others didn’t know we even had cops assigned to 811. The Poles with their Polish eagle stickers on their beat-up Japanese cars don’t know what to make of any of this, but that’s not stopping them from being obnoxious drunks. White women with tans (they’ve had them all winter), large sunglasses, and attired in black yoga pants and Bears sweatshirts are using the checkered hat bands from their rear view mirrors as sling-shots, launching FOP medallions toward the riot helmets of police trying to get the area under control. I was hoping maybe there was something that the cameras didn’t catch but the reports verify the actions of these idiots were as they appear.

Ok divided by murders? NOT. Murders are all the city cares about, yes, but 'divided by murders,' no. The city is going to put every resource into Area 4 because that's all they are concerned with.
