As a officer in NYC I come here for the comments (for the last 4 years at least). It’s therapy. It’s not the typical blog rants we have here. At this point, the use of Active Duty troops is more than justified. Previous race riots have required combat troops. Anyone that lived through the Iraqi campaigns has a difficult time understanding the reluctance. As a officer in NYC I come here for the comments (for the last 4 years at least). It’s therapy. It’s not the typical blog rants we have here. Every issue Chicago has is presented with facts and examples, and disproves the biggest enemy of this country, the media, on a daily basis. Whenever people talk about having that long awaited discussion on race, I want SCC representing law and order. Not to prove others wrong (well maybe a little), but to open everyone’s eyes. GF was killed, justice will be served. How many black lives were lost SINCE this event in Chicago alone? Country wide? We will be in the 100’s soon. How is this not a problem? Anyway, I wish the stats and facts that come out of this blog could reach more of an audience then those who already deal with this on a daily basis. These aren’t opinion pieces. Sorry to ramble.
