Followup on Shooting Stats
Per HeyJackass.com, this is the number of people shot between the last police shooting (08 March 2020) and the two jagoffs who attempted to kill an Officer with a car (12 Jun 2020):
- As requested, the number of shootings and homicides between CPD-involved shootings is as follows:
Shot and Killed: 170
Shot and Wounded: 802
Total Shot: 972
Total Homicides: 185
Just so you know, the time between officer-involved-shootings shootings was 96 days - that's three entire months. Yet somehow, police are still labeled as the problem though. And not one goddamn media outlet will ever tell you these numbers. This is why they have less respect and trust than any other institution in the country aside from the United States Congress.

Oh, the actual numbers must be racist police lies! Have you ever noticed that these leftist, totalitarian protests and common knowledge all have one thing in common? It's 1965 Selma, Alabama! Hey, scrawny, over educated college grads of "social sciences", your professor lied to you for 5 years, the entire country has moved on and race relations, PRIOR to the messiah, Obama presidency were improving, and had shown marked improvement FOR DECADES. George Wallace hasn't been around here for years. Little Rock schools were desegregated during the Eisenhower administration. That's like over 60 years ago, you communist twerps. THIS is what CPD should come together with in a MASSIVE Public PROTEST. Have thousands and thousands of officers carry Signs of all those names of people in between. Signs saying "what about us? Signs sayin 'Say Our Names. And of course signs reading HeyJackass.com!
This is not a joke. CPD must Answer the Criticisms both in word and in deed. Yes, all of the positive daily interactions and professional actions matter and must continue. Yes those factors do build trust. However, public In Your Face Media Hype is also required.

I voted for George Wallace. Believe it or not Wallace was a Democrat. Pride of the south. The last Democrat I ever voted for.
I always get a chuckle that "Hey, Jackass" gives a hat tip to William Hale Thompson, Jr., the last Republican mayor of Chicago (i.e. the last mayor who was not a part of the Democratic Machine).
Of course, since 1931, the Democrats have claimed that all of Chicago's ills related to having once had a Republican mayoral administration. Interestingly, in the 1931 mayoral election, the Better Government Association rated Thompson as better qualified for mayor and less corrupt than Anton Cermak (a man who amassed millions at the public trough).
A 2013 book "City of Scoundrels: The 12 Days of Disaster That Gave Birth to Modern Chicago" by Gary Krist departed from the usual narrative and dared to suggest that Thompson was a much better politician and mayor than he was given credit for.
Only the twisted media and the even more twisted socialist democRATS believe the BULLSHIT! Even the black people not involved in this ruse know that the lawless black people and family lost are responsible for the bullshit in America! I wouldn't mind a Republican Chicago Mayor, who couldn't/wouldn't be worse than the many years of corrupt and mostly incompetent Democratic Rule. Most of the declining schools and communities occurred under Democrats, especially Daley I. ☹️
I am a citizen willing to do everything possible to demonstrate On behalf of police. I’ve supported Chicago police memorial foundation since it’s inception and want to do more. We need to get on the street by the thousands to show real support for CPD.
