015 Squad Burned?
Anyone hear about this one? (click for larger version):
Supposedly a 015 District unmarked, parked in the lot (the side of the building without a security camera), mysteriously burned last week. No one hurt and no one in custody or claiming responsibility. It's the west side, so who knows what happened.

Happened once in the old 15.
Response occurred.
Never happened again.
It was a shit car with almost 150k hard miles and no PM's for over a year,
Who knows what happened.
Oh. I did it. It was me. I wanna be woke da polices so day stop racist.
Sir Larry what are you going to do when Trump beats Biden and Michelle Obama? Your toast you should surrender and kiss his feet and lick his toes and say your sorry!! Chicago will need his leadership that you don't have!! Resign your an embarrassment!! I voted for you because you were the best of two evils! Trump is the only one to bring Chicago back to civility!! From a life long Chicago Democrat!! I pray the Elephant parade last the rest of my life. The Donkey / Jackass is dead in my ❤️. God please long live the 🐘🐘!!
Nothin’ scandalous or spurious.
It was just some skinny jeans wearin’, metrosexual beard flauntin’ 3 year on the job tactical superstar who left a vape pen with bubblegum flavored oil unattended.
Mice with matches.
Damn those Fords and their electrical fires!
Since most of the police cars have over 300,000 miles and are about to die....this is a plus.... a new car from the insurance company.
Maybe it’s the fact that the “community” freely walked through the lot where both cpd vehicles and personal cars are parked. Burn marks are still in the lot.
Allegedly it was electrical from the systems in the back. That would be the first I’ve heard of such an issue.

Cities don't have insurance.
It's Chicago. You know what happened.
The GPS and camera recording equipment shorted out. Zero fire damage forward of the back cage.
Spontaneous combustion?
Doesn’t help when the people assigned to guard the lots are asleep at the wheel (literally).
Park Lot Damage, Old Bar-B-Q Hot Sauce ignited it!
Apparently someone did not heed the warning of the hand sanitizer in cars catching fire from the heat of the sun. Even when the CPD issued hand sanitizer is expired by several years!
Maybe it was a guy or gal on their last day that just wanted to leave a final FU to the city.

#1 there are no squads with 300K miles on them. #2, the City is self insured so what insurance company are they going to call. Dumbass
On the lighter side (no pun intended), the White Sox were finally able to match the Cubs in attendance.
Now, kees me you fool!!!!
Before we leap to conclusions, given the pathetic state of communications- electronics equipment in CPD, it is entirely possible this could have been electrical. Also, it is entirely possible that an electric spark could have ignited upholstery saturated with a spilled quart of Hennesey! ( Seriously, one day soon, there WILL be electric fires from out dated and poorly maintained communications gear in CPD vehicles)
Mice with matches....you cracked the case Shadow
That’s a hot car. Chase it.
Spontaneous combustion the west side way.
The mayor supports this type of “peaceful” protest.
One of this Indiana matches must have spontaneously ignited. Over 150 miles, he’ll it was just getting broken in. The are good for 350 easy.

------- Your story was almost believable until you said camera recording equipment shorted out.
Unmarked cars do not have ICC systems.
You lose
Question for Firefighter Brothers in Arms: What is best way to fight vehicle electric fire? Does CPD have right Class of fire Extinguishers.
Thankfully, no Members of the Communerty were affected. One day— and I hope and pray this never happens, but statistically it will— there will be a vehicle fire with a Member of the Communerty in the same vehicle. If this happens— Get the Member of the Communerty out of vehicle. Such an event would make the In- custody death of the Baltimore Neighborhood Entrepreneur Freddie Grey look tame!
A Possibility: Flatulence ignited by Static Electricity!
to call. Dumbass

Can’t we all just get along? Why does everyone have to be a dumbass? Dumbass lives matter too! If it weren’t for dumbasses, you would be called another name.... just dumb...dumb...dumb!
misc X card keep killing crime
hey how about all those shot spotter calls that police respond to , any paper made , it is a crime to shoot a gun in Chicago
many are shorties , can't own a gun legally
CPD run by supervisors that couldn't conduct a lawful street stop , complete a case report or handle a shots fired by police
FOP , lobby to end gold braid for all ranks above LT .
