So Commander Mel Roman gets dumped by Larry Lighttoad because he did not go along with her bullshit and her demands that he violate people’s constitutional rights and arrest anybody getting near her empty house. The Latino community should be enraged by the fact that she gets rid of one of the only Hispanic commanders in the police department. I bet she would never treat a black commander or black boss like she treats white or Hispanics with rank on this job. This should be investigated by the Feds.

Commander Roman did not get relieved of his powers, demoted, or dumped. This department has very few leaders left. The 014th District truly lost a leader. He cared for his officers and always had their back.

That house is still pending and hasn't closed yet.
Been in 014 most of my year's. Hardly saw Roman. He never did anything for me, nor why would he? Commander's come and go. All are political puppet's!!!!
District's DON'T need commander's, nor captain's. Waste of taxpayer dollars on these positions. No reason for commander's and captain's!!!!!
